  1. Hey Gumpy.

I have a set of Eibach springs and a set of coilovers I could possibly be persuaded to sell, though I haven't decided which Id want to keep at the mo. Make me an offer I can't refuse!

  2. That's to Ewen for mega fast delivery! Kit fitted and it's great! Revs up mega fast and is so grabby compared to my slippy old one! No noticeable chatter or noise over stock at all!

To the other guys who've fitted this kit, where is your bite point based on the travel of the pedal? I'd say mine bites in the last 15% of travel really low to the floor and I can't work out how to adjust it? It's I can get used to it, I just wondered if yours are all the same?

  3. I had mine done in Swansea for £360 supplied and fitted IIRC by Jack Smith.

Several people on here have used him and been very happy, but I think he cocked mine up big time.

After watching him do it, Id order one and DIY. It took him about 4 hours and I recon having watched, I could now do it in about 6.

  4. I have a coupe with a SMF and a Roadster with standard clutch and fly. The DMF is definitely slightly lighter but thats because the Extreme clutch has a more powerful pressure plate from what I understand.

Before I changed to a SMF the clutch was slipping and it was REALLY heavy. It was due to the pressure plate being spent apparently

  5. There is a tiny microswitch on the passenger side behind the door. I noticed it when doing my roof. Make sure this isn't broken! Also the microswitch on the brake can fail....

PM Zzzebady too. He's become a bit of a roadster roof expert!

From what you have said though, it sounds like a ram is jammed on the side part of the back of the roof that flips up. Each side of this there are two rams, like what holds your boot up on a normal car. Check these are free and not popped off their holders.

  6. Hey Guys,

I have to admit, I'm really not happy with my roof. To be honest, I think Ray made it slightly wrong. As you've seen on the photos it sits shockingly behind the side windows. It also leaks where my old one never did! IMO its not wide enough across the car. The seals around the windows are visible which means the water gets in past them.

I too replaced the elastic that Zzzebady mentioned.

I did complain to Ray two days after I had it fitted, and to be fair he refunded me in full. I felt bad for him and left him £50. I will be getting another roof soon though!

It seems a bit pot luck on how he has made the template. I've used Ray before for an MX5 and he was spot on. After he gave me my money back he told me he wasn't ever going to do another 350Z but I guess he's changed his mind.

  7. Hey guys,

I am looking for a new clutch and flywheel. I was wondering where the best place to buy one is? I have been told the best combo is the Exedy clutch with Fidanza fly? Does anyone have experience of anything other than this? I have found a kit with an Exedy clutch and LUK fly?

Obviously I want to spend as little as possible ideally!

    Adam
