  1. This Zed is now for sale! http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/350z/nissan-350z-gt-spec-uk-car-40k-miles-fsh----------2005/4421331
  2. Thanks guys! I ordered 2 hub assembly's from a car spares shop a friend of mine works at (mates rates).... but the donut ordered the fronts!! I think he owes me a pint or two now! Gets slightly worse as he is only able order the rear bearings but is completely unable to source the rear hubs! Not good! I paid £115ish for 2 rear bearings manufactured by Bilstein. Nissan wanted £199 per hub.... no chance! So i searched around with the part number which i can now remember off the top of my head - 43202ag000 incase anyone else needs it. Found a company called Febest who sell them just under £50 each, and they sell them through amazon! Did a little look into the company and they manufacture OEM Japanese car spares, along with Korean, European and American parts. Ordered 2 on the weekend, and the delivery date is between the 13th of May, and the 3rd of June - i guess i might have to wait a while before i can fix my baby!! Got my rounded nut off with a removal tool, fitted my disks and pads - happy days, and ive just received some new spacer nuts from driftworks. Slowly getting there, just need to get some overtime in at work and get 2 new tyres ordered! Good job i love my Zed!!

    Wheel spacer nuts

Im sure they are 17mm mate - they are H&R wheel spacers and nuts. Maybe they just have an odd size to other manufactures? Might take a wheel off and see if i could get a 19mm nut to fit in the recess.

    Wheel spacer nuts

Does anyone have any shallow 17mm wheel nuts used for bolting on wheel spacers? Or could anyone point me in the right direction to buy some quality ones? I'm in need of a few Thanks
  6. Not had a very good week with my Zed but ill get straight to the point. My rear wheel bearing is very bad, it has alot of play. I have ordered some bearings to do both rears (which i collect today), but it is worth changing the hubs too? Has anyone else ever changed the hub or has everyone just had the new bearing pressed onto the old hub? Anyone ever pressed an old bearing off to find a damaged hub? I dont want to spend more money if i dont have to as my zed is bleeding me dry this month! The other unlucky things that have happened this week. I had a blow out on the front right wheel at high speed - think ive just about stopped shaking 5 days later - 2 new tyres needed £££ Went to change my brake fluid.. a nipple snapped off in my rear brembo - luckily its not leaking so thats another job to sort out. Hopefully i can use some kind of extractor and not have to change the caliper! £££ Came to fit my front EBC disks and pads, went to take the wheel spacer off and the last nut rounded!! Been to get a nut remover, but does anyone know where i can buy wheel spacer bolts from, or if anyone has any lying around i could buy? ££ Everything always happens at once!
  7. I wasnt expecting that much feedback! I didn't give him the engine info, he did that himself, ive got to be honest im not that much of a nerd, its just a 3.5L to me haha ! The pictures have been tweeked slightly, but the colour in person is still amazing, such a deep red, one good reason why i wanted a red Zed. Pictures 3 and 5 are the exact colour in person. I guess that fact shes only on 25K miles helps with the richness of the colour! MCook ive just seen your signature - i was 19 when i got my Zed, and i turned 20 last month! Thanks for all the good feedback, and yes the OCD in me wishes the steering wheel was straight too
  8. A friend of mine likes to specialise in Jap car photography and he took a few snaps of my Zed the other week and thought i had share a few with the Zed community! Not to shabby ayy! OH MEDIA
  9. One 56 reg at plow and harrow car park around 10 past 4pm. Another 56 reg at Tesco express Dosthill. 4:15pm - i was the youth that was having a good look at your zed as i entered tesco! I guess you didnt see me get out of my zed.
  10. Im in tamworth Mike - Mines a red Zed if you have seen it about?
  11. That wasnt me, but im another z owner that was having a look round your Z while you were talking a guy about yours. Looks like a nice motor I was riding shotgun in my mates Red e190 Merc cosworth bodied with the RH rims on if you spotted us rolling in. I dont normally take mine to the meet, used to take my old mk1 golf every week tho last year.
  12. Have you had this done yet? Im tempted to go down this route myself!
  13. And thanks everyone, couldn't have asked for a better welcome
  14. Yes he said its very smooth, and said im really going to enjoy driving it!
  15. No seriously, she will be staying standard apart from an exhaust! Insurance is not very friendly on this car, let along a modified one!!
  16. Hi John, I have just finished getting my Mini ready to sell, and it will be on sale as of tomorrow. Insurance is still with the Mini, but my dad has the nissan insured so she is safe! Yes the documents came in just over a week, was very happy! Thanks again, i love the car, pleasure dealing with you and your wife. Ill make sure to pop in if im ever up your way! Hopefully i will have my first proper drive within the next month. I may have to turn it off a couple of times haha!
  17. Thanks guys! Yes i may look into a stubby.
  18. Oh and yes insurance it a horrible figure!! Thanks guys!
  19. Nice, ive always liked the corrados!! When and where are the Midlands meets? I may pop along some time!
  20. Wow what a great welcome! Thanks everyone! 14N - yes i was at Flood Street Dudley for a little while - oh and thanks for joining me to the event at Ferrari. Honestly all i will do is potentially an exhaust, and have a few things freshened up like have the Rays sent off for a blasting and powder coat!
  21. Thought i may as well introduce myself as quite a few new members seem to do so... I'm Sam, age 19 and im located not too far from Birmingham. I purchased my Chilli Red 350z a couple of weeks ago, which is my first ever Z, and in fact my first ever Jap car. Hopefully it wont be the last either! Its a GT model which has just turned over 23,000 miles on the drive home from picking her up. I don't plan on modifying her in anyway, other than potentially an exhaust as i feel its a little on the quiet side. 3 weeks ago i sold my first car which was a 1983 Mk1 Golf to make way for my 350. It was hard so see her go as i had spent countless hours making sure it was top notch and reliable! Currently also own a Mini One D - purchased so i didn't have the use the Mk1 every day and through the winter. This will be for sale as of next week if anyone is interested for the Mrs maybe? Anyway, ill let the pictures do the talking! (There is also a picture of the Mk1 just in case any of you are interested and don't want to admit that you secretly like Volkswagens) Hope you like her!
