  1. Just seeing if there's any serious interest. Hence the firm price. If they don't sell and I don't become desperate then I'll keep them. I'm in love with them so kinda hoping nobody wants to part with that much money...

  2. Arriving tomorrow morning ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Ordered in September. The anxiety has been great. The wait is nearly over 😎ðŸ˜

  3. It was Dorrington, Not Donnington. Had standard Rays, heading towards Stretton on A49.

Also saw a lad in a white R33 GTST the other day who looked but was too late to wave..

  4. It is not normal that en exhaust is rubbing against the car. Are your cats original or do you've got aftermarket ones? Maybe there is the problem.

Otherwise I would screw everything lose and try to fit it correctly.

PS. Engine mounts are still ok?

Yeah. Engine mounts are solid. Original cats are in place. Don't know what's causing it ðŸ˜

  5. Hi folks. Finally got the 2nd Titanium Y-pipe to fit to the Zed to complete the system and it's the same as the first piece they sent out. It touches the crossmember and is a very tight fit on the surrounding chassis parts.

Has anyone else had this issue?

The original has a bit of room to spare but this matches up fine, however due to it being a wider gauge tube, is it going to cause problems or do all aftermarket Y-pipes touch other parts of the cars chassis? I don't want rubbing and rattling!

    Thanks in advance!

  6. Seen this morning about 10am...anyone on here? I was in a sunset 350...

Noticed a white 370 parked up opposite the Town Hall around 5:30 too...

Not me but I come up from Shropshire now and again to visit my bro who's in Eaglescliffe. So I'll keep my eyes open!

  7. Got the pilot alpin 4's. They're ok but I wouldn't say they're amazing... Better? Yes. Night and day? No.

Once you lose traction, you don't regain it without total loss of throttle, however I can only speak on wet roads over 1500 miles. Not ice or snow...

  8. I've just spent £650 on 4 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4's for the rays and after 1500 miles, I'm not convinced they're a worthwhile tyre over the summer options... I dread to think what the crap you've got on must be like to drive on. Never compromise on rubber! You might wind up sliding into a bush and having a baby....

  9. Hi guys. I've tried searching both on the forum and in Tapatalk but cannot find what I need to know.

I'm looking to get shot of the skippy bose unit next week and have an aftermarket double din cd unit fitted.

Does anyone know exactly what I'll need in order to fit a new double din unit and retain steering wheel controls?

    Thanks in advance!

*Edit* I should also note that my brother works at Halfrauds and I get decent discount so ideally I need to know if I'll need a new cage and facia etc? I know I need a connector for the steering wheel controls but not sure which one or if it varies by manufacturer?

  10. Absolutely fine to mix, tbh I've tried both XL and non-XL and I'll be buggered if I can tell the difference.

    Awesome buddy, thanks!

  11. Brilliant write ups and advice guys. Thanks! Having a set of Alpins put on the Rays on Friday so I'll see how I get on with them...

On the subject of tyres, I've got a set of MPSS for my 19's which will go on in spring.

They have sent XL's for the front and not for the back. Will that make any difference? Do I need XL's for the rear or will normal 275/35/19's be ok on the back?
