  1. Thanks for the replies guys! I do love this forum, awesome people driving awesome cars! I shall definitely be getting pictures. Where should I post? I guess in the build thread right? I've challenged myself to get a show/track car in the next two years. I've been searching and asking everyone local to me if they have a garage and tools I could access. I have a few leads but nothing as of yet. Alot has changed since my last zee. I sold it and got an 09 scirocco gtst It was lovely, but wayyyy too refined. I almost moved to Australia about a year after I made this original post. I stayed there for several months and decided to come home. I didn't own a car for 2 years once I had got home (I had access to work vehicles, but I need a car) I saved to purchase another z, by april last year I had saved enough. I searched for around a month and finally found one! I drove 4 hours from Kent up to caister to pick it up and fell in love again as soon as I got behind the wheel. It was a great example 05 GT. After two weeks of ownership, my girlfriend at the time found out she was pregnant! I was over the moon (but slightly gutted, as I thought the 2 seater had to go) BUT she told me not to sell the vehicle. Fast forward to September, I married her ofcourse.. Who wouldn't marry a lady who forces you to keep your other fair-lady, pun intended. Our beautiful baby is now seven months old and is wonderful. Now we are settled into our home and all the hectic and expensive craziness is out of the way it is time to do what I've always wanted to do. Turn a dream into reality, build myself a track/show car. I'm not looking to make it into any magazines, but I love the idea of showing off a car I believe is beautiful! I've had a few Hiccups, I reversed my car onto my drive and somehow hit the curb before the drop curb, as it doesn't cover my drive fully. Tore a catalyst, ripped my bumper under the drivers headlight which in turn has chipped the paint work on the bonnet. So the paintwork will be done first. I shall get out tonight and get some pictures of the car. You are a little ahead of me, but maybe this is where I shall start. I need to sort my cats first so I may purchase a full exhaust system. I've always liked the single exit systems, I know this probably makes some of your cringe. You're more than welcome to try and change my mind! I wouldn't be offended. I am really excited to finally have spare time and commitment to start a project. Thanks for sticking around to read. Much love to the 350z-uk community, I look forward to becoming a local!
  2. I'M BACK! I missed my old Z so I went and purchased myself another not too long ago. Glad to be back for sure.
  3. Hello! I am looking to purchase one of these if they're still available. I actually bought one off of you back in 2014, I just found the emails! I missed my old Z, so I'm back
  4. Thank you for the warm welcome!! I'll get some pictures soon as I've just had her washed. I've gone for the Agency Power Ti single exhaust. Not to everyone's taste but I like the look of it. I'm trying my best not to sound like a 'boy racer' as everyone on other forums my age seem a little immature or others are quick to judge. Doesn't seem the case on here though.

  6. Hi guys. My name is Jack, I'm 21 and I'm from Thanet, Kent. I have had my 350z since November last year. I have been using the forum since I've had the car but didn't see much point in signing up as everything I have questioned has already been answered plenty of times on here and other forums. It's a lot to catch up on and take in but I have picked up a lot of information thanks to all you guys. I've decided it's going to be my first car I'm going to commit to and make my own. I have owned 2 others cars both being under 2 litre, in fact under 1.4 litre.. But I have experience around bigger cars. I say that I have decided, I didn't really get a choice, I was searching for a new car and it just so happens my uncle was selling his 03 plate fairlady z. I knew I wanted it after seeing him driving around in it, the style of the car to me is beautiful and I'm sure you will all agree! Also the look on his face while he was driving it, this is now the look I have on my face Every time I get in my car. I don't plan on going crazy, as it is fast enough for anyone with little experience like myself. She's a little beat up after being a little careless with how low it was! I had to take it to work on a Monday a few weeks ago, I had to go into a private building estate, as you go in there's a slope but I didn't notice the gate stopper in the middle. The sound that came after that was just horrendous. After getting out a little teary I notice the exhaust is not sitting straight. Now I'm sitting without a car while my new exhaust is being delivered (up to 4 weeks wait) turns out it had split my mid pipe and pulled my y pipe and creased it so it wasn't in use. I hope I haven't gone on too much. Thanks for reading. Woody.
