Do you know what, i do miss some things ........ The zed had real charactor and i know its sad to say ... I miss the admiring looks from people . My zed was just a cool looking car ! And people really did love it ! ( if i dont say so myself , hahaha )

I always new the m3 would need a few tweeks to make it how i wanted it . Spacers and the exhaust mod cost arounf £220 and boy does this make a difference to the m3 ..... Instant injection of soul and road presence . I love it

If i didnt want a 4 seater i would have 100% got a cayman 981 s ...... But again they start at 35k up for a good one.

Went to London today to pick these up , got home and gave them a good clean . Got a real bargain , as these are 7k new and only covered 10k !!

Also have some h&r anti roll bars coming , so will all be fitted together ! Can't wait

My e92 m3 is all I wanted it to be ......... But I don't think it can compete in visual terms to a zed , 911, Cayman in my honest opinion , as all these are much better looking cars .

Make sure you drive the dct m3 though .... The 6 speed manual is not as special and not has quick as the 7 speed dct .

I'd absolutely love a Cayman but the new shape make the old ones look very dated and the bore scoring is a worry I didn't want .

I would have liked a gtr .... But was out of budget like yourself . It's ok people saying just save a bit more .... But it's 45k for a good gtr , that's a lot more than your max 30k in my mind !

The ttrs is a genuine weapon of a car ..... If you can live with the image and Micky taking then I'd be very very tempted .

How about rear diffusor ,front lip ,tints all round,smoked lights and of course BBS wheels?!

Trying not to go too crazy with it ! Tints and smoked lights aren't really my bag ... But a front lip is going to happen at some point . I love the standard wheels , so not going to change them .... He says !!

Picking these up on Saturday ! Front and rear brembo 6 pot / 4 pot gt brake kit .....

Just carrying on from Tim really . I've used all the waxs under the sun ..... The ceramic blew them all out the water . It's just another level and is so easy to clean ! After washing it I used to use my blower ( Oo er) to dry it ! No towels required ! Also the ceramic is very hard and resists scratch / swirl marks .

This is the quality of tims work

I had my zed done by Tim at evny and he's incredible, the level of detail is very impressive. In my opinion you will spend an absolute age hitting it with a da and if you're like me be very frustrated when the sun hits it and the swirls are all still there . Call Tim would be my advice .

I'll be getting my m3 and brother inlaws z4 done and ceramic coated as soon as funds allow , as I think it's as good as any mod you can do , makes the car look so so much better

Haha great article and I agree ..... But I love the look ! Hence why I have it in my car! When the steering wheel gets a bit tatty I'll get it recovered again for £150 .... No biggy really .

Brother in laws ....... An absolute cracking motor for 8k !!

For anyone who's interested I fitted the rear carbon spoiler a few days ago , really pleased with it . Also gave the z4 a good clean

But surely if it was getting a colour change this can't all be bad , as it will all need spraying anyway ? Or are you wrapping ?
