Trying to remove the y pipe... it seems like the bolts are welded to the cat... :/ dont know what to do and this is my daily! I live in kent anyone got any suggestions? Trying all sorts of methods. (Y pipe is off btw!)

Thanks peeps. Think I'm gonna soak 'em in WD again.. see if i can get hold of blow torch and extend a breaker bar. Local garages have no time for me on weekends! My cats look terrible also..its a 54plate... I guess/hope its just some shielding around them That's corroding?! Get some Hfcs? Or don't fix it if it aint' broke?

Hey I'm new to Zeds, had my sunset for 2 months now and I'm about to replace my y-pipe as flexis are blowing. I spent about 20 minutes trying to undo one bolt and had no joy. I believe they are a 14mm socket? Any tips for removal as I'm getting nowhere n my shiny cobra y-pipe wants to go on.. I used wd40 and them soak a bit. Just got the feeling I might be doing something wrong and there's an easy way? Cheeers guys.

Haha. I know...worth a try Expecting the expense too! But importing them from America might be my only option if no1 replys

Hi guys Just bought a Z, 54plate GT pack 276bhp in Sunset burnt metallic Orange 55k miles Has the usual, rays blah blah, you guys know the deal. She gets delivered tonight! I'm used to forums, my second car is an Audi A3, but I literraly have no clue where to start with this utter beast! The vehicle is completely stock as it stands. I had looked at the 296 n 313 but any chance you guys could help me out with the dos and don'ts for a 276bhp Z? I know, you can hit me with the whole 'search' or 'IBTL' but a contribution would be wicked on my first post! Go easy on me! Thanks peeps. I will get pics up tomorrow!
