  1. Will do after i've topped everything up if its still there lol!
  2. Oh @*!#, I sold them to cheap. Seriously, yeh, I could have asked more for them, but, I put them on to sell at a price I knew they would go quickly, I'm happy with £200 notes and someone will get a nice set of wheels Too many folk advertise stuff in dreamword with their prices, what's the point Rob My favourite kind of seller. Most people take the P with pricing stuff up, i always see it as, as long as im happy with what i get, then who cares if they where cheap, i got what i wanted and someone got an awesome deal!
  3. Any ideas re the above??
  4. Ha dont worry i wont be driving it now until i know all the oils are topped up!
  5. My local garage charges me £5 a wheel to change tryes and a couple quid for balancing!
  6. Only when i slammed the brakes so i drove it back slowly not going over 45mph. Was hard considering i was on m25 lol! Previous owner did give me 5l of oil and a filter as it was due a p1. Ill get this done tomorrow. Ill top the box up too as refer to my other thread its making a very loud chattering noise.
  7. Ok got more of a problem now.. I know people say there is flywheel chatter but then theres my car. Its louder than the engine it can be heard at least a road away. I say this because a group of youths where all looking round to see the noise. I remember losing a small amount of oil from the box when changin the clutch. Could it be the box making the noise or could there be something else wrong somewhere? I cant think of anything else other than oil in box! Sorry to be a pain again.
  8. Ok so just went for a 72 mile drive. Cut short because the oil light flickered on when testing the brakes lol so i came home. Im guessing that explains the low oil pressure. One other thing but ill stick that in the clutch thread.
  9. That makes me feel real good thanks for that dude!
  10. Im always happy to help. Just been out for a spin will update on more problems now haha

  14. haha, i'm always happy to help, you'll all get to know me on here, always giving away bits and bobs, helping everyone for free and then wonder why im poor all the time LOL!
  15. That part that looks tampered with, looks like there might be a kink in the wire, take the tape off, resolder some fresh wire in there, cheapest option first lol
  16. Welcome! Sounds like you got a gem there!
  17. Sorry not ubuntu, XBMC is what i was suppose to put i read it somewhere not actually done it myself but i thought it was an ubuntu system
  18. Just needed to sit back and take a breath lol. Literally really easy once you know where everything goes and you have the right tools! used the clutch allignment tool the second time and the gearbox slipped on like a glove and didnt even need to bolt it to pull it together, i was flush with a wiggle! took 20 mins after the box was back on to bolt it all together and plug everything back in! If anyone is wanting to take a crack at it, now i know, im happy to give any tips/hints main one i think is make sure you take the top 3 gearbox bolts out from the top, down the back of the block, then lift the car as they was much easier to get to that way!

  20. I have a spare 7" screen and the best option i found was to get one of those rasberry PI's £25 ish, and just install ubuntu on it and run it as a media centre, use the aux output on it and do the Bose HU trick to make it aux in, but use the sat nav space for the screen.
  21. No you dont, it's sold lol
  22. Will do on sat, i'll be emptying it and refilling it anyway! maybe tonight if i can get a sump copper washer!
  23. Yeah thats how mine was before doing the clutch, do you recon starting the car when the flywheel timing was out may have caused an issue?
  24. I done some searching and can only see people having problems with the oil pressure going all the way to the end, where as my problem/ query is slightly different, before i done the clutch, when the car would start up, the gauge would sit just sorta close to the first notch on the gauge, now not sure if related but when i start it now, it sits just over 0 on idle, goes up and down fine when driving, and it hasn't been ran properly for over 2 weeks, is that normal? it's due a P1 which i shall be doing on Saturday. Should i be worried? Regards, Brad
