Use a multimeter to check to see which wire is live.

Mine are starting to go on the Rays spokes.
Interested on how much you paid for this and also did you post them or take your car to a place that does them?
Don't really fancy buying a set to use temporarily or leaving the car on axle stands whilst it's done.

I used Carbotech on my MR2. For hill climbing the softer pads are excellent and come up to temp very quickly.
The 350 is a heavy car and if your doing countless laps I'd go for the harder compound but be careful when they are cold and be sure to get them up to temp.

Aren't you able to get sensors that go behind the bumper and don't need to be poked through the bumper? I thought you could....

Mine arrived this morning in the post. Excellent service. Keyring looks great too.
Thanks.

I'd like one as well please.
Can you advise how these stay in place? Do they come with a fitting mechanism?
I'd like mine black with the Z in the middle if you still do that?

Replied and money sent. Look forward to receiveing it.

Me too please. Thanks.

Violence doesn't solve anything, and in this case not being violent solved the issue. They've paid the bill and apologised. They've been honest and done the right thing. I'd keep the letter and get on with life.
Extra cash can pay for the first instance.
Keeping calm and not being confrontational has worked here. If asked directly they would have denied it, the letter has given them time to read, reflect and do the right thing.
Good work.

Hi,
How do the boot dividers fit in? Do they secure some how or are they just very snug? Don't suppose your running one of your 'sales' on these currently are you? I could be tempted by one of the all black ones....
Thanks.
Anyone?

Can afford/offer £60....

God I want them on my 350z....
So can they not be refurbished to match the original colour/effect.

You don't have to make it wonderful, just reliable
What's wrong with it?
It's a rotten, battered old shed. In the last couple of months both engine mounts failed and a ball joint gave way! I'm not risking driving that, breaking down and ruining the trip. I doubt it will be big enough anyway due to the amount of camping gear, etc plus 4 people. 2 of the people going are girls and we all know how minimal they pack!
-
I checked Enterprise, they specifically exclude driving outside of the UK & Ireland on their website. Of course, they may well be more accommodating if you ring them, but that's all I could see on there for now.
Well that sucks
Never seen this product before but it sounds interesting. Palm off your excess to a third party for less than the rental company charge. I might use this for Road Trip Scando as it's waaaaaaay cheaper then their own excess waiver - £50 worldwide for a year!
Yea, read about that excess stuff, I think I'll aim to get that elsewhere tbh as the hire company try to sting you with that.
Spend £500 fixing the BMW?
Nah, its a BMW Compact, £50,000 wouldn't improve it!

Hi, the reason for hiring a car is my friends BMW compact isn't reliable. And spending £500 on a car to do a 1,000 mile trip each way isn't likely to last. The last thing I want is a shitter of a car to ruin the trip or make me late. It's going to have to be an estate hire car. It seems going in to the local branches is going to be my only option!

Hi,
I'm looking to hire a car to drive to Spain in from Somerset. I will be traveling to the Circuit de Catalunya (approx 1,000 miles). Ferry, etc is booked. Here are the requirements:
- Must be an estate or bigger
- Big enough for 4x people + Camping gear
- Diesel or Petrol
- Auto or manual
- Must be less than £500
Has anyone done this before or similar? I've looked on hire company websites but there are so many options and worrying things I've read about excess's and extra payments. Is my criteria realistic? Can you recommend companies to use, things to look out for, etc.
Obviously the 350Z would be perfect for this, apart from it only has 2x seats and a boot only big enough for a box of matches!
Thanks

Bloody annoying.
I can see a cable runs off of the Bluetooth module. Without ripping the dash apart, does anyone know what end that cable has on it, or a picture of it?
If I knew that I could try and work out a way to get it to connect to a computer. If I could do that I could potentially get it working or play with the firmware.

Yep, cracking weekend, been twice before and will be going again this year. Can't wait.

Got these two this week. Not built a Tamiya before. Anyone recommend glue, knife, tweesers, etc to buy? The models didn't come with any but I'm keen to get them built!

I have just tried the new Lollipop Android release (5.0) with the Nexus 4 and still the same issue. It does not stay connected for more than a couple of seconds.
  FFS! Argh!
Lollipop isn't out for my phone yet, but this is annoying news!

Hi,
When you replaced the discs and pads, did you check the calipers to see if and of the pistons or sliders were seized?
Not sure on the 350, but on other cars I've had you can disable the ABS by pulling the fuse for it...
-
Hi,
Has anyone tried this with the new Lollipop Android release (5.0)? I was hoping that might have an update that will make it work....potentially!
Cheers,
Pagey.

Still waiting for a reply from my post in July. Are these still for sale or is there someone else who does them now?
