More to the point has anybody got or know where to get custom lids for the screen wash, radiator coolant etc

ohhh i tried looking on the threads couldn't find any i've seen the odd bay or two on different build projects like just fancied seeing them all in one place. I will give google a search now thanks

At that point now where i feel like i need to make my bay unique or if not unique bait different to the standard. So basically what I'm trying to say is will you guys that are proud of your engine bays post them in here just so i can get some kind of idea and inspiration of what kinda things can be done.

OK, this is my second build thread. After someone crashing into my Yellow GT4, I went and bought a 2008 Twilight Grey 350Z with the awesome HR engine.

 

Bought standard January 2014 with ~23,000/~37,000KM Miles on the clock.

 

First stop was a good clean.

 

 

 

I picked up some fresh number plates as the originals looked tired.

 

Added LED bulbs all round( Interior, license plate bulbs, sidelights)

just a quirky whats the blue around your badge and window seals?

Was just wondering if anybody knows what i should do. I have found a rust patch on the wheel arch about as big as a 1 pence piece. I was wondering what peopel recomend i do or if any one else has had this problem. Obviously my first thoughts would be to get it resprayed. If so does anyone know of any places near the Leeds/Pontefract area that do a good job at this and what the price range would be?

yeah I guess so I would have looked but im on my phone and its a right pain scrolling down and zooming in on the forums. Are they notoriouse for running out alot and burning it off if not ill just leave it for the service in a couple of months

I know this may sound daft but when checking oil in my 350z I find it hard to get a good reading as when looking at the dipstick it doesnt look like one of the best manufactured piece of kit there is it bends in all directions and when I pull it out I cant get a good reading as oil get everywhere on its way out. Anyone else had this problem and how did you overcome it and how do you know your running low on oil?

So After a long time and not being on the forum i think its time to start contributing Just been and cleaned my 350Z and i must say it looks gorgeous if i don't say so myself.

Been looking at post from other members and there designs and projects have really inspired me i literally fell in love with my Z when i first laid eyes on it and had to have it now being an apprentice and 22 my funds are low so any ideas to improve my car and i'm all game to hearing them out.

I really want to make my Z something different than the standard design and performance so hopefully i will have plenty of pictures and improvements to come.

Just been out this morning and cleaned her up waxed and the job lot pictures to follow

I don't go to Ponte much to be fair other than my sisters who lives opposite new college. Got my zed from Harrats in Ponte but won't take it there for servicing or anything

How long you had your Z and where do you take it for a good service and M.O.T

 

I bought mine last August.

 

I use Atkin Motor Engineers at Malton, they're a trader on here. I asked the same question on here and they came with many excellent recommendations. They're independant and Nissan approved. Granted it's a bit of a hike but given the nature of the car, it's better to travel for a quality job than go local for a bodge plus Chris, the lad who works on the cars, has a zed too and is very helpful. The run up the A1M and A64 is hardly a chore either.

 

So far they've done a gearbox/diff oil change, MOT and it's booked in for a P3 service a week on Monday. Personally I wouldn't consider anywhere else. If you want to speak to them you can PM Chris on Atkin666

Ahh nice one well i bought mine just after christmas and my M.O.T is due in june or july sometime so will give them a shout cant beat going to somebody that has the same car that knows what they are doing thanks for the help.

Wow madmarky that is an intense set up I think its abit too bright for me tho and wouldn't suit my black and silver nismo ha however some love and hard work has gone in to that would love mine to be that perfect one day

One last thing is it called hydro dipping the process?

Too right does anyone know any really good but cheap dipping places near leeds area?

And is the first picture your z or someone elses

Wow that really does look good I have seen the dipping videos on YouTube but not been able to find someone round my area that do it I can say it looks very clean and smart

hey I've got a 350z nismo automatic and I'm currently going through a stage of wanting to modify all my interior in to a nice setup I'm just struggling for idea as I haven't really seen any others in person. was hoping for you guys to post pictures of your modified setups from complete mods or just little spray jobs.
