Hi RJF,
I am interested, as long as Elec / Heated?
Only thing is I won't be swapping my steering wheel as mine has just been recovered, I have a spare gearknob and handbrake lever so won't need yours.
My seats are ok, wear on drivers bolster, scratch on passenger seat squab nothing a dye won't sort
I am in Colchester, let me know
Cheers

You got to laugh at some peeps, after our track day a couple of weeks ago 6 of us pulled into a pub for an evening meal we had a guy come out and say wow! 6 Ferrari's all together.......
Porsche 944's

Thanks fellers, I am pleased with it all.
Yes OEM gearknob covered, wasn't sure how it would look but it came out ok.
Gaiter and Knob easy to change
Handbrake isn't difficult when you get help from Buster from the Z shed, he helped on my post in February
Where from - you remember I introduced you guys to Jack, Royal Steering Wheels?
In fairness to Jack I can't reveal the price I paid (you understand)

History?
Belts replaced? (48k or every 4 years)
Interior, fabric or fabric & leatherette?
Wheels? (15" Original)
Sill condition (they rot from inside out)
Tax & MOT?
Fuel lines ok (they corrode)
Battery tray ok?
Sunroof, if so drain pipes ok, in working order?
Body, paint?
Assuming all ok if mileage is genuine, I would think somewhere around £3-3.5k for a really nice example, the problem is that to achieve that you would need someone in the know to appreciate a series one car, S2's can be had for that money, 944's are in that bracket where a guy can own a Porsche for not a lot of money, then not looked after very quickly fall into an expensive car to put right, then the value as many are now not very good.
Most new to the 944 want a Turbo, again that hinders the value on what is seen as a "lesser" car, the thing is there are not many Lux models about, if it's a good one you may be wise to keep and look after it - you never know?? And they are a great car to drive.

Hi guys,
Out yesterday for a run and after a while the EML came on, there does not appear to be any drop in performance.
Started her this afternoon, it went out but came back on after about 5 seconds
Any ideas?
Cheers

Not being funny here, but how is it going to be newer than a Y reg ........... if its on a Y reg?
Because you can put an older plate on a newer car, my Y plate 944 is an 87 car - E reg

Fantastic car loved mine to bits, but it was an SMG, in my opinion the only manual to have!
Mine was loaded with very available extra, worth looking at a few and the most common thing to watch out for is to check that the running in service was done on time, check for thorough service history, well maintained cars are the loved ones! Cause they ain't cheap to keep.

Hi Paul, ex- Cutter myself M3 - Cooper S - 350Z
House move forced my hand, went economical, 4 weeks, 1 tank of fuel, 1 wash hated the Cooper with a passion love my Z and yes the turn of the key sounds great, Z has a lot of character and "fun" elements but I do miss my M3, power, SMG gearbox, and those simple things like auto lights.
Only 2nd Jap car out of 70 I have owned, like it a lot, proper rear wheel motor!
-
So mine are fitted, make a noise but don't extend and wash and no water on the floor under the car when trying to use.
Any ideas on what he problem may be?
Sorry to high jack thread

Where in Essex are the wheels?

Autoglym Bumper Trim Gel is by far the best thing in my opinion and experience. Makes it look like new and does not fade again after a few weeks like other products. Can be purchased at Halfrauds.
Payco
Totally agree, been using this for years

You just made the job a way lot easier, thanks for your help and I really appreciate you posting those pics.
