I am thinking of getting a Zed and the article has helped, i personally do not care for comparrison tests, no car is the same and i couldnt care less what most people think, as long as i enjoy it that is all that matters

Yeah i needed to use momentum with the mps so used to that, although still stock pads and disks after 2 year, drive like miss daisy haha

Right fellas, i have a budget of roughly 12k for a 350z, would of went for a 370z but slightly out of my price range although there is a CAT D one on autotrader for 11.5k, what do you think?, otherwise any advice on decent reputable dealers in 350z or has a member recently part ex one at a dealer, also do not want a roadster, any links or advice appreciated, oh and has to be part exchange for my mps which i am thinking 12k, cheers fellas

Yeah i tend to agree with you lads, i know a decent independant anyway, i suppose i got used to mazda ripping every mazda owner of with there digital service record, independant garages have to subscribe to it to carry out the work, unreal

Depends how much difference there is between nissan and independant for servicing but would rather go to nissan, just looms better on the stamp

Mpg is not a factor, my mps got about 24 mpg, i just wanted to know if it was roughly the same mate, like you say with any hot hatch or coupe you know its going to be low

I introduced myself the other day and just a couple of questions: can anyone tell me the tax difference between old and new 350z tax and can anyone give me a rough guide on a normal service compared to a so called big service, also a rough mpg driving normal with occasional WOT around town, cheers fellas

Thanks for the info mate but to be honest i am no mechanic so would not know most of that stuff, i usually go on the feel of the car and instinct, which going on previous buys i am not to good at haha, i think if or when i purchase one i will probably draw up a shortlist of 3 and put on here to see if any members have come across them and see what you lads think, gunna try and get a 12k budget though haha

Haha thanks for clearing that up mate, get my mps back next week sometime so any time after that, it is an 11 plate with 23k on so expecting roughly 12k, just not sure if the wife is gunna take any of me haha, if she wants a family car for 6k then my budget will be around 12k, i have told her it is roughly the same cost as a mps, but she never believes me with these things haha
