  1. No problem hope it helps people, I was surprised that one shock could cause so much knocking and clonking and without taking the shock off all I noticed was a very small oil leak. Hope others get their knocking sorted to.

  2. Just to let you guys know I've sorted my knocking / clonking out thanks to the zed shed guys turned out it was the passenger side shock was completely shot and basically had no rebound so it wasn't soaking up any bumps plus it also seems to have sorted out the odd creak from the back too, the drop links were fairly badly worn so changing them wasn't a waste but changing both rear shocks has sorted the problem completely.

  3. I do get the odd creak from the back but dunno if that's just plastics or whether it's related to the suspension. I would describe my noise more like a clonk like heavy metal hitting together sometimes just a single clonk other times two or three clonks i guess that depends what i drive over, when I go over any pot holes or rough road it feels like the wheel wobbles or something is very loose but when i had the drop links done yesterday the mechanic said it was all ok.

  4. Join the club, I just replacement mine and still have a clonk sound every time I go over pot holes on the rear passenger side. I have noticed a very small leak from the shock so that's next on my list.

  5. Hi all, I'm after some help with a loud knocking / clonk noise coming from the passenger side rear when I go over pot holes / rough road. I have just had my rear drop links replaced as they were worn but the clonk still remains, it only seems to be on passenger rear. Has anyone got any ideas what else it could be, I was told the bushes look ok? Thanks

  6. I have hankooks on the front of my rays at the moment and seem very good but again are about £160 ish for the rears which is ok if you are only buying one or two but when buying four that's a couple of hundred difference or half the money forwards a cobra exhaust lol. I believe the mpss are one of the best tyres for the zed but at £800 + compared to £400 for four tyres that's a big difference and for normal road driver would you really notice the difference?

  7. I was going to get the toyo tr-1's a couple of weeks back as they were £108 for the rears but unfortunatley now when I have the money they have gone back up to around the £155 mark.

You can buy falken 453 for a little more, would they be any better? Thanks

  8. Without starting another tyre war topic has anyone used kumho 's on a zed? I need some 275/35/19 rears and 245/35/19 for front and on tyre leader they are only £106 and £95 all in they get good reviews good wet, fuel and noise ratings. I only do 3k ish a year and mainly Sunday drives, car meets etc and at that price compared to Michelin £200 + they seem very good value. Thanks andy

  9. Maybe a bit of a shot in the dark but does any have some secondhand tyres for sale, after 275/35/19 rears and 245/35/19 fronts. Thanks
