Hi guys a few days ago my central locking started playing up. I'd press the button on the key fob to unlock the car and It wouldn't work then after a few more presses it would, now it won't work at all. I've tried a different battery in the key but no luck. I've been getting into the car using the key in the door barrel but every time the alarm goes off when I open the door and it's driving me mad. Anyone have any ideas? I read something on here about a guide to help you reprogram your key but I have no idea if that would help this problem. Hoping someone has the answer.

I'm not looking for a centre console that has the retractable lid for a sat nav or if anyone has just the cubby hole and it fit my centre console that would be great. Also I'm looking for the JDM sat nav buttons as I want to install a tablet in the cubby hole and have the JDM button panel just for show.

Will the steering wheel controls work with this?

Wondered if it's possible to wire in an AUX connection to the OEM Bose headunit and if it is has anyone got a guide on how to do it?

It worked!! Put be a problem with the key I was using and after 5 attempts it locked me out and disconnecting the battery for 30mins seemed to reset it so I could use the other keys. What the fault is with my broken key I don't know maybe it just needs a new battery but cheers for your help

Cheers for the codes I tried disconnecting the battery for a few mins before but then I used the same key to try and start it again that page suggests 30mins which I'm trying now then I'll try starting it with another key.

Think I can rule out the key I've tried my main key and two spares

My Z is turning over fine but won't start up. I've had a friend run the diagnostic computer on it today and it showed up fault codes P1610 & P1612 which I believe is something to do with the imobiliser? I've tried all 3 keys in the ignition but no luck, has anyone had any exspirience with this problem and if so what do I need to do to fix it?

What if your looking to go down the supercharged route would it be worth doing then? Or would the stock system not cause a restriction?

If I'm just interested in optimising performance and I'm happy with the looks and sound as it is, is it just worth getting the headers, de cats and Y-pipe or would I benefit from the full system?

Does the cubby hole have the retractable lid or does it just flap up?

Cheers KyleR that's great. I've got around 6k to spend and just looking for a power gain but I don't want the exhaust system to be crazy loud I've had enough of that with a civic type R I had lol. In the future I'm looking at going down the SC route, the vortech chargers look interesting will the above mods support a SC?

Looking to start modifying my 54 plate Z and wondered if anyone can recommend some makes of mods I should look for, I'm thinking about the following parts but if anyone would recommend any other parts I should get then I'm all ears. Cold air intake Plenum spacer Exhaust Headers De cat Mid pipes Back box (don't want the car to be too loud) Ecu Coilovers Front and rear camber adjusters (if there not adjustable already)

I've got a Z on a 54 plate and the gear changes are a little notchy going into 2nd and 3rd. Someone told me later models had a better gearbox and that it would be worth changing mine, is this true and if so from what year did the gearboxes change?

I want to change my cubby hole lid to the retractable type as I'm planning to fit a screen into the cubby hole, currently I've just got the flip up lid and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what parts I need to get hold of to do the change and if there is a certain year of car where they had the right parts I'm looking for.
