Hi, had a good dig around but struggled to find anything. I have driven a couple of mgs before and an old lotus and always loved the wheel of a Ferrari style ball gear knob....jokes aside I think a ball straight onto the current oem gear stick would be really short. So I have found 90mm extenders for about £10, has anyone done this? Does it look stupid? It's more for the feel than looks but I don't want it looking like a wanna be drifter. Pics would be awesome!

My mate bought an import and asked me the same thing. Can't wait to tell him! I said it probably had chav neon added at one point

I really like the HR bulge bonnet and would have definitely considered putting one on my DE Zed had one come up at a reasonable price. I don't think it looks out of place or ugly on a DE Zed at all, just different.

flappy paddle red bits have been painted using a childs paint brush set!

no dash lights apart from the stupid air bag light. which refuses to turn off even with the key dance! it could well be a cam sensor issue. TBH it needs all its belts changed and i might look into getting the timing done on the car. valves make a little noise on start up for 0.5secs. needs to TLC

no, it was depressed, the key does nothing with the clutch depressed, the starter motor did kick in. just very short.

Travelled to the MotoGP in the zed, close the event I went to move off from a set of lights in third my accident. car stalled, no worries...I'll just turn it on again... but it didn't! took 4 attempts to get it going.

Car obviously warm, each try didn't even feel like it even cranked the engine over. 5th time it sprung back into life like normal.

What could of this been?

race was brilliant albeit very wet!
