  1. Hi 370 owners

Not been on for ages, sold my lovely 350 roadster 3 years ago, keep looking at the 370, love the looks and stance of them, anything in particular to look out for when buying

    Cheers Rob

  3. I raced an H2 at a charity event last year.... rather quick in a straight line, but not very good in the corners ;) They were supposed to come back this year, I had 50hp more, better launch control and some proper tyres, but alas they never pitched.

I did take the 2 riders out in the GTR :) both thought a touch slow on acceleration, but immense in the corners!! And its even better this year ;)

Both the H2 and H2R are pieces of art, stunning to look at :)

    Yep, they are fecking quick

Mine isn't because I havnt run it in yet

To be fair, for a bigish bike they handle very well, obviously, a well set up car with a good driver should smoke it in the corners

As you say, they are stunning pieces of equiptment

  5. Death on wheels!! IMO.

Take great care, you don't get many chances if you come off one of those. The bike looks great but a fast bike, badly maintained roads, lots of idiot road users and excuse me for saying, a slightly older gentleman riding it, makes for a dodgy combination.

Im an older guy too and if your like me and still enjoy the thrill of speed, there WILL be a day when you open it right up or take bends faster than you should.

Enjoy it but please take care. Best of luck

Slightly older gentleman, like it

It wont get to much use as it will be my very sunny Sunday bike

They are around 200bhp at the rear as standard, an ecu flash and few other bits and bobs will get you 250 at the rear :headhurt:

I know the dangers out there, I've been riding too many years

BTW, this slightly older gentleman can still lap donnington sub 1.50 ;)

    Rob

  6. Well, the 350 has gone, lovely car, ticked a box

    Ninja H2 now on order

Took one out for a test ride, handles great for its size

Now I have owned and rode many fast bike but this is in a league of 1, acceleration is stupid, it literally throws you back in the seat, think being on the enterprise when captain kirk asks scotty for warp factor nine

Its beautifully put together, a work of engineering excellence

Here is a pic before I took it out, I said to the sales guy, those "chicken strips" will be gone when I get back, his face was a picture

  7. but i think its very naive of people to blank statement that bikes are faster than cars as its not the case. there is to many variables

And the biggest variable will always be the driver/rider

Until you get to "top end" racing the "pilot" is the governing factor

  8. I have a test ride on the H2 in three weeks

Probably another one in the garage ;)

    Rob

    Do it!

You're making the right decision LMFAO! :yahoo:

That one was the final choice for me when it was 370z buying time. Car won only because I had a new zx6r already. And the fact that the H2 is just too crazy!

I've still only seen 1 out there, a few months ago going through Trafalgar square.

The current PB magazine review has the H2R in the sports bike of year and they still can't find words to describe how good it is. But they do mention a 15 hour service interval! Dunno if that's same for H2?

To be honest, they are a piece of engineering excellence

I was going to get one last year but other things dictated

I believe the service costs on the H2 are relatively normal compared to the H2R

  9. Corners are the best bit on a bike, so much fun :) I appreciate on a track 4 wheels will generally be quicker, but as Rob says, not much would keep up with a well piloted bike on A roads.

I,m sure they did a comparison between cal crutchlows times and louis hamiltons around silllystone gp circuit and over F1 race distance hamiltons would have lapped him several times

There is no denying top cars on a circuit will beat bikes, but, you cant get ya knee down and wheelie in a car

  10.

Also corners are a fag on a bike.

    Depends who is driving/riding

I have caned many an "exotic" car on a 90bhp 750 kwak ;)

Also had my arse whooped by a guy in a lotus

    Rob

  11. Turbo Busa for me the worlds your oyster from Sean at Bigg CC, they have done a thousand brake on the dyno

I do like this though let me know if you get one Rob

Already looking into it Mark ;)

Obviously will be the H2 as the H2R is track only version

They are a wonderful piece of engineering, 5k deposit secures one

Biggest issue is insuring the thing, quotes are hilarious, seams everyone goes through Kawaski's own insurance

    Rob

  12. How come GBP is up about 1% against pretty much everything today, FTSE100 up 220 points, FTSE250 up 500 points... and yet my Facebook isn't screaming with idiots saying the economy isn't doomed after all?

Because to most in the city it is just a big game, that game being dealing with "virtual assets"

What actually happened is they (the financial sector) took it upon themselves to play the "curry's" approach, bang the markets/exchange rate up just before the "big sale"

    Stability will return

    Rob

  13. Amazes me, folk in the remain campaign harping on about conditions the UK will have to face outside of the Eu to trade in the single market, don't we have to meet certain conditions already to do exactly that already

  14.

But its not 4% of the voting population voting to Leave over Remain, its 1.9% because if they had voted the other way it would then be 50/50 - if 1.9% of the people voting Leave had voted stay it would have been 50/50 so they were the ones that swung it. Its effectively the football 6 pointer.

Your not a statistician gunning for MEP re-election are you ????

Nah, got it, your Uri Gellars apprentice

    Rob

  15. My personal view on this is that now certain campaign promises have been exposed as lies, it makes sense to go through this one more time... and I am sure that the result will be different. If not, then fair enough.

My personal view is totally the opposite

If a second referendum was to be held, democracy will be cast as dead in the uk, regardless of the result

You don't just change things to suit the political and financial elite

Before folk have a go, my view would be the same if remain had won and pressure was coming from the other side

  16. on a twisty b road, a good driver in a Zed would leave an average M3 driver

A good driver in a heap of shite will always cane a shite driver ;)

I always work on the basis

    Firstly: Driver

    Secondly: road knowledge

    Thirdly: Car

    :boxing:

    Rob

You sound like a bit of a racer Rob .

Nah, I,m an old git with a roadster  but I can really shuffle the wife's duke in "sports mode" ;)
