    I parked a mile away from everybody in Tesco this morning at 9.30 they don't open the

     

    tills till 10 so gave 30 mins to get what I needed and out of there before the crowd.

     

    Came out at 10 to find most of the car park still empty, except the space next to me

     

    where some crappy Z4 had parked 2" from my door..WHY..Most of the car park was

     

    still empty...!!!! Boils my pi55... :rant: :rant:

     

    Most people act like Sheep, they follow the heard.. maybe why they bought the generic Bmw rather than a Z lol

    So my house phone rings and I answer it (this rarely happens!) I get a 'foreign' chap on the end of it trying to tell me that he's from

     

    Microsoft Windows and my computer has been hacked and is infected with a "bad worm". Sooooo I decided to have some fun and

     

    play along for a bit, asking lots of questions, pretending to be shocked ...... and then when he said he'd fix it for a charge of £60

     

    payable now by credit card , I told him I'd traced his number, recorded the whole conversation and was going to the police as I was

     

    fully aware it was a scam. He couldn't put the phone own fast enough ! :scare:

     

    They did the same to my 75 year old neighbour last year and conned he out of £100, then when she gave them her credit card details

     

    they ran up £2,000 on her card. If I knew who it was I would remove "bad worm" from his ass with my boot..!!! :rant: :rant:

     

    Well done that man.

    You can't make this up......

     

    Yesterday I went down to durham to check out the ep3 type r for sale, I was offered £5400 for my car in its current state and would need to pay £400 towards the type r. I was unsure what to do and told the dealer I'd have a think and call him in the morning. I had pretty much decided by the time I got half way home that I was going to go for it, the EP3 appeared to be immaculate and the test drive made me realize I definitely want another type R, Then this happened.....

    All power suddenly cut out as if I'd ran out of fuel, then the engine warning light came on along with the traction control light and the slip light. I managed to limp into a car park and waited for recovery whilst kicking myself for not having breakdown cover. I'm hoping this is nothing serious and most probably a sensor problem but for now I have a broken car sat on my drive and the clutch is also on it's way out too.

     

    The recovery guy offered to reset the ecu and drop me back off at the garage in the morning to go ahead with the deal, he said "I'll drop you off round the corner reset the ecu and you can just drive in and do the deal", while this would most probably work I'd never dream of doing it, I did laugh at the thought tho.

     

    So I've got two options, fix the car and sell privately for a decent price then shop around for a EP3, or take a loss on the 350Z and part ex now avoiding the hassle of being without a car while mine gets repaired etc.

     

    To top it off I've came down with some sort of chest infection and I've had to take the day off work today so I've got nothing done. I have no idea how I'm going to get to work and back for the rest of the week.

    That's unbelievable! Your Zed just doesn't want to be sold!! I am on my 3rd Zed, my current one is an HR - 57 plate and feels a good deal quicker then my old 03 - I even ventured toward Porsche for a while and now I'm back.. that says something in itself no?

     

    I hope you can sort all your woes out, it's not nice when things start going wrong.

    20mm front and 25mm rear are the norm for rays. :teeth:

     

    True, trust me to be different, I just want them out a bit further.

     

    Also, where can you buy Hiro axis wheels in the UK please, how much and which offsets (18inch preferably) 8.5 or 9J front 9.5 or 10J rear?

    Hi everyone, not sure if this is an appropriate place to ask this, but I am after some wheel spacers for my Rays wheels anyone have any for sale or would want to swap for some 245/45/18 bridgestone Re050A's in very good condition or p/ex etc.? cheers

    I'll be coming up the M27 then A36 so if anyone is coming that way fancy meeting en route? :)

    I and a few other I think will be,

     

    Plan to stop off at Rownhams Services at 9:30-9:45am For anyone who wants to convoy from there.

    350z Upgrade?

    Hi All,

     

    I am considering upgrading my 350z to a 370z. I have seen the price has come down a fair bit for them (40k Miles 2009 GT spec are around £15k) and after having the 350 for around 4 years I think I fancy a change.

     

    In terms of the car itself is there anything i should be considering before I change in terms of running costs etc? Is fuel much more? Are tires more? Services? (I have always had done by a local team of pros who know 350zs well - in my experience I have found when part Xing taking to a main dealer does diddly squat for increasing value)

     

    Im just trying to do my sums to see if its possible, and if its not going to cost me a crazy amount more money.

     

    Don't do it, I did the opposite.. but it's up to you !!

    Called Motorline Nissan in Tunbridge Wells and they managed to fit me in the next day (today) turns out that noise was a bit of branch caught behind a wheel and the rear quarter panel. They carried out a health check on it and washed it and all for the grand old price of...... Nothing at all! As always, very helpful people and great service. I know some people have bad stories about main dealers but if you're wanting to use a Nissan dealer I can highly recommend them.

     

    That's good news, just don't use those crooks at Yeomans in Worthing!!

    South South Meets (Hampshire)

    Curious, as the South Central seems a quite area of the forum, are there any weekly/monthly meets that happen in the Hampshire region?

    Based in Fareham/Portsmouth my self, had the Zed 4 days now, be nice to go out and meet few other fellow Zeds.
