  1. If you can see the yellow connector there is a little gray bit that goes over the top you pull this up then you can disconnect it. . . . .

When you reconnect it make sure you push it back down, it then locks it closed!!

Just out of interest what was you playing with before the light started?

  2. Something useful I noticed the other day was the little clip for the petrol cap to hang on when you are filling up.... over 2 years and I only noticed it the other day

Ive never noticed this!!! Thanks Dave!! :teeth:

Never noticed this either, every days a school day.

Well done for noticing this one iv just looked on mine!!!

    Well impressed :-)

    Haha

  3. I was reading this guide the other day....

    http://my350z.com/forum/body-interior-exterior-and-lighting-diy/467030-painted-door-handles-removal-and-installation-4.html

apparently there is a clip on the back of the handles you can fiddle with which holds the handle open rather than using wedges etc, not even looked at mine yet though to see if this works as i have no where to store my car with no door handles attached

If anyone doesn't mind posting pics of there car with gunmetal handles that would be helpful, i need to see different shades applied to handles to find a close match to my wheels, the gunmetal i used for my badges is a little too dark so they need to be re-done too.

    Hope this helps

  4. when i sprayed mine i took them off the car, and made up some small wooden wedges to hold the handles in the open position, then taped all the back section up to keep them there and keep the paint out.

Iv found that a little Allen key works just as well :-)

Mine have gone Gun Metal Gray :-)

  5. They actually attract other cars.. no matter how far away from anyone else you park in a car park, when you come back another car will have parked next to it!

God damn this is annoying, had this today at the local supermarket. Parked as far away as possible, there was literally 50+ other spaces, however they chose to park about a foot away from my car. What the hell is wrong with these people? Luckily there didn't seem to be any marks left on my car, no idea how the driver managed to get out unless they were rake thin as my passenger couldn't get in. I left them a nasty note on their car, it really is unnecessary to park like that.

Please tell me you left the Note scraped into there bonnet with your key!!!!

That way they really would forget and do it again. . . .

If anyone was to say anything your argument was that you was being thoughtful and helping them to remember :-)

    Lol

  6. Just sent the message over and waiting on a reply. . .

Thanks got the heads up :-)

You should have asked me for the switches not the pipes ;)

I think I have a set of switches but let me check after work and I'll get back to you

Haha just seen this, if you wouldn't mind that would be ace. .

    :-)
