Ok so I've just been informed by a friend who has the same head unit with a audi (bose speakers). He suggester the blue cable needs to be wired up for power to the bose amp - still a bit unsure......

Hi guys, Just bought this unit and the associated cabling from Halfords. I've got a 2005 GT with birdsview sat nav and the Bose sound system. The system is now wired up with the cables, however no sound at all!!!! Can anyone help as I've spent the last few hours on the car and just don't understand. My friend has the same car (non bose) and the same stereo and didn't have any problems with the sound. I'm therefore thinking this is something to do with the Bose amp maybe? Heeeeelllllppppppp as this is doing my nut in! Many thanks, Jord
