  1. Sweet! Time to get a few notes ready to spend!!! Cheers fellas
  2. That's what I'm thinking - so what's best to do first?
  3. Not been mapped no. Wondered if it was best to do other things before having it remapped to get the maximum benefit?
  4. Ha ha - I'm trying but the diet ain't going so well!! My plan is to get around 20-30 bhp ideally for a bit more grunt then start spending money on styling and bodywork options!!
  5. Hi guys, Been reading many of the posts on here and just getting confused. Basically I've got a 2005 GT (UK) with low mileage and am after some more umf! The car is running with japspeed exhaust system which I keep the silencers out and run only on Shell nitro + which in my opinion is the best for feeling a bit more power. Anyway I'm after some cheapish mods to get a bit more power. I'm after anything from 10-30bhp with mods that won't affect the MOT and don't cost a fortune. I've been reading on the intakes but am just getting confused as all I can seem to find is that they give you a better sound - got that already with the japspeed exhaust. Anyway help or advise as I don't mine spending a few £'s to get a bit more of a boost!! Thanks,
  6. OMG where did you get that carbon dash from? mine is scratched to hell!!
  7. Yeh the quality is very good - the guy defo takes pride in the products! Tip for the caps that Asad gave me was to remove the alloys first and pop the old caps out from the back - this reduces the risk of any scratches if using a screwdriver and also means you can give the inside of the alloys a quick once over too!
  8. No he's sold it on and going to the dark side with an M3 DSG. Will look nice but still no Z!!!! Just a note guys - the emblems for the front and back are sold as the same size, but the rear one on the car is slightly smaller. I've fitted both front and back of mine and they're fine but just so you know.

  10. I'm going to be given a price list tonight so will post on here once it comes through
  11. I know what you mean - they are slightly darker but I think they do look good! Good news for club members - I've been told all club members will get 20% off with free postage! Ill pop the details up tomorrow and contact details for ordering! Hopefully get the front and rear emblems on tomorrow too!!
  12. They are sweet! I've dropped the guy a line and hopefully he'll come back with some discounts for the club!!
  13. Before, after and comparisons.... They are a perfect fit!
  14. Ill fit the emblems and centre caps and give feedback and photos.
  15. Ill drop the guy a line tonight to see if be can do a club discount but alloy caps are £30, z emblems £22.50 each except for black gloss which I think was £16.50 each. The 2 black gloss emblems and "350z" letters in black gloss was £49.95. Hopefully we can get a club discount code or something - watch this space! Photos of mine to follow also :-)
  16. So I've been wanting to remove any traces of "Nissan" from the z and finally found a supplier of the emblems in my home town. Turns out he's one of the only guys that do them! Picked up front and rear satin z badges and a set of z caps for the alloys yesterday and they're brilliant! Great condition and look perfect. The guys sells chrome, gloss black and lettering also with other z bits! I can give you his number if you guys want anything but very happy with my purchase! Attached is a photo of and emblem and alloy cap
  17. Oh my ******* god - what a difference that makes - the sound is superb with me not daring to go past volume 14 when its max is 40! Thank you all so so much! Also I've taken photos of the wires to cut and finished product if anyone needs!! Jord
  18. Thanks for that - any chance of pointing to the link - I've had a quick look and can't see anything - must be going blind after all of that wiring......
  19. Rightio So now have a refund from Halfords, although over a week on I still haven't had a response from my complaint email or a call from the "expert" as promised. I do however have cables from "Audio Direct" who were brilliant and quick and now have sound. Question to you guys - the sound is not very loud. I'm able to turn up to the volume 40 (max) and still not very good - is there something else I need to do? Do I have the RCA's just in the wrong position or something? Any advise would be great. Thanks
  20. Rightio - Have emailed Car Audio Direct as had recommendations from them and hopefully will get some feedback soon so this can be done and dusted. What a nightmare and over a week with no stereo in the poor car. Need my tooonesss.......
  21. Ok so a massive warning if you guys didn't already go before - avoid Worcester Halfords. I made the phone call so it wasn't an hour wasted journey and was told the car audio expert was in today so would be able to help. I dismantled the stereo (again) and turned up to find out that in fact the expert was on holiday till next week and they couldn't help. Another wasted journey...... Wish I had gone to the local specialist to do now as so far 10 hours wasted on this bloody stereo - damn it better sound good once installed!!!.....
  22. Thanks Guys, Whilst I am tempted to wire it myself I'm worried that there's literally no space in there at all and with the sat nav it's even less - don't want to be ramming the cables in with the risk of them splitting. I'm on my way back to halfords now to take the old unit and order the correct one. it's annoying when you mention what you have and they still get it wrong! Looking forward to it being done as my mates in the audi with Bose sounds awesome and my other mates in the z without bose sounds awesome too! Thanks for the help and will update once fixed!
  23. I did ask for the Bose ones from Halfords but the loom doesn't have RCAS on - should it? If so they've issued me the standard cables. They are useless as the order also contained a fascia which was delivered as a single din plate.....
  24. Have you got the Bose Sound System with your Z and if so did you have any problems with the sound as I can't get any with this model and the recommended cables from Halfords which is frustrating...... Jordster
  25. Nothing still - Am I missing some important point here? We've dismantled the Sub and checked there's power to the amp which there is and been round checking various powers to the wires etc plus all fuses ok? Still no sound at all???.......
