well I promised the missus the the skyline would be the last project but I seem to be slipping this one past her so far lol she knows what im like cant help myself

might have to bung the zorst or think about having resonators fitted its a bit loud when the pedals pushed

the clutch is to cover future engine plans why change it twice when you can do it right once the clutch is going now so needs doin now :-) the skyline is my drag toy this is gonna be my track toy and my duster is my daily driver once ive got the body how i want it on the zed then the fun will start on the engine

hi all I wanted to start a thread on my zed as I have started to get a few things together this is how she was when I first got her

its a proper marmite colour lol got bored and got the spray equipment out in my garage one week and that was the result before that she was black and blue metalflake. i like to play with paint lol its being used for a base to a crystal flip that goes from gold through yellows snd greens its quite cool and very grainy like s metsl flake effect

well as long as my builder gets his finger out it will be ouut at meets and drag days next year :-) cant wait to get her back out to play. having work done to her was the main reason i got the zed

yeah it was pretty before this theres a pic in my introdution post before the currant mutilation lol but decided to make it wider to fit bigger tyres underneath as traction was a bitch and lighten it more cutting metal from arches frp doors carbon bonnet and boot allie boit floor and firewall. and with all that going on it was prime time to strip it right back engine dropped everything and refresh everything and get the power up a bit more. shes my little green piggy bank as the wife calls it lol this pic is before this current revamp

yeah got one i tried to find a nismo one but couldnt get it at short notice so grabbed a syandard one

my skyline started as a 500bhp planned track toy then hit double that. im planning on building with a haltec platnum ecu as ive always used haltec wat i cant decide is turbo or supercharger the liner is 3ltr straight 6 turbo but i fancy a supercharger never had one yeah i was going to get my clutch from clarke but then saw this got offerd a deal i would have been daft not to take

yeah but its paddle and has red anodised cover final power aim will be around 500rwp

its made by competition clutch its a twin plate paddle trying to add pick but it says too large

well shes had a slipping clutch pretty much since i brought her but its got progressivly worse so bit the bulet and got a new clutch. already fittted new straight though stainless exhaust and decen filter and waiting for a plennum spacer to arrive managed to get a twin plate competition clutch inc lightened one piece fly and release bearing. ordered a quick shift at the same time my question is i got the twin because i have future powerplans (do i turbo or supercharge) but but but. on my skyline i have fitted an os gilken tripple plate clutch because it has 1075 bhp but the clutch was very hard so i had to get an uprated master cylinder to help with the problem. will i need to do this with the 350 or will a twin be drivable with no other mods

all good the track wheels from greenie fitted, need to get them refurb without the green lips but they look great was a bit worried about the offset to start with but they fit well 8.5x18 front 10x18 rear with goodyear eagle f1 tyres
