Had these two on display today at a local small motor show. The Porsche used to belong to my father. Unfortunatly he passed away in January so me and my brother are determined to show his Porsche along with my zed and hopefully in the near future my brothers vw twin turbo 4wd 1990 caddy.

Ordered mine this morning 128gb iphone 6 (6plus is pointless for me due to iPad mini)☺ï¸.... Surprisingly cheap upgrade fee as well. Needless to say I'm staying in the cool gang for another 2 years. As regards to other makes I always found apples metal and glass feel so much better than cheap plastic

Apple doing what Apple do best..... Taking something that's pretty dull and making it possibly the most desirable thing on the planet..... As for the left handed thing surly you'd be able to rotate the screen so it works on the other hand

Bonnet lifters defo on the list...... But I kind of like the rad cap because it's mostly in japanease.

Since getting my polished plenum and bonnet catch I've been a little obsessed with my engine bay. Buying all sorts of things to clean it as well as some proper tools to take things apart.
Bought a spare engine cover from humpy and popped down to see my mates at the local friendly hydro dippers AquaGraphix. Now I've had my interior dipped with gold carbon and I absolutly love it and I could of gone this route with the engine but I wanted something just a little different for the bay.
I chose a brushed aluminium pattern on top of a deep red finished off with a slight shimmer of pearl. I've got to say it looks superb in the flesh
I was so impressed with it I enquired about having some more parts done in it. Also as luck would have it they also needed some new flooring for their new premises. So a deal was struck and a few more parts were taken out of the zed and sent on their merry way.
I also bought a red engine bold kit from Tarmac, some conduit and a samco sports intake hose.
The bolt kit looks awesome apart from I was missing one of the larger washers (also noticed one or two have started to rust) but hey they were £35
After spending all day fiddling around with plastic the conduit/tie wraps/tape..... The wife came out and said "that looks sh!t" ..... And I had to agree with her...... So I took it all back off
Finally I haven't put the samco in because I think I prefer the black one, so that will be up for sale soon.
Oh and I sprayed the strut brace black
Anyway Before
After
Thanks for looking

I can fully see your point now.... Why don't you put it up for sale at a ridiculous price and see what happens?

100% keep it and keep it in storage as you've done. The value of that car will only increase in time. Think of it as your nest egg rather than a car

It's likely to have been the solvents in that then. Red Mist is more of a spray sealant than your typical QD and it doesn't play well traditional clay bars either. Born Slippy or Basics of Bling should be okay with clay mitts (or bars) though.
That's the answer then.... Fair play it made hell of a mess on the wife's car.

Red mist
-
Tbh I thought the mitt was crap but there is a good write up on here somewhere about what a good job it done when used with the right products. Not drying the car might have had something to do with it also.

Don't use dodo juice qd.... It took all the clay off the MIT and smeared over the wife's bonnet

The situation that your in sucks.... But in truth if they can't afford your rent then there's no chance of getting your money back. Just don't get worked up about it and try not to take it personally. My father was in your situation 18 months ago and he got so worked up about it I'm pretty the stress contributed to his death.... All over a poxy £1500...... These days I help my mother run her 10 houses. Most of the tennents are good but theres always a problem lol

I think there are basically two types of tenant.
1) It's not my house so I won't lift a finger or spend a penny to make it nice.
2) It's not my house but it is my home and since I spend a lot of my time in it I will make the effort and even spend some money.
3) I'm paying you rent so you will be at my beck and call whenever I want you. The type that phones you up at 11pm because a lightbulb has blown!!!

Yep they look lovelly. I'm waiting for some bits to come back before I decide. I'm also thinking about a samco one

I think Detailing world is a brilliant forum also, especially if you contract zeditus.
WARNING NOTE: if you do go on there prepare yourself for a whole new world of washing your car.

Im well underway some work on the engine bay and I'm looking for a nice shiney intake hose to go with my stillen cone filter, but not too sure where to look for it. Any suggestions would be greatful. I've seen that samco do one but I think I'd prefer a polished one to go with my polished plenum. I'm also thinking about the throttle body but I'm @*!# scared of touching that lol

The wife's got a 56 plate 2.5 touareg and she loves it. But it's heavy on the juice and eats tyres for breakfast. However the amount of kit you get for your money is so much more than the x5. I paid 10k for a 56 plate with 60k on it 2 years ago and it's got all the toys on it including tvs in the headrests and a playstation 2. Couldn't even find a 54 plate X5 for that at the time. Best of all it's lovelly to drive and probably the best car I've ever driven in the snow.

I do.... You'll not get much change from £350 for a 2 day paint correction. Brilliant work tho
-
I love alphas.... Ever since my 155. Some of the best looking cars out there. If the Brera had a better engine I'd probably be driving one of those.
(And it would probably cost me less money than the zed)

How far out are those cannons poking??
Not that far but probably a little more than most
