  1. Excellent choice. Yes you will need a facia. For my Bose 03 Z I bought a fitting kit ( includes facia ) FK-256. Didn't need an aerial adaptor. If your Z is Bose 06 onwards I reckon you will need a facia (50-306D) and a steering control interface (29-674). Not sure if you will need an aerial adaptor. Will depend on type of socket on back of your Bose unit. I ordered the kit over the phone and the people at Incartec were very helpful. Don't forget to do Buster's wiring mod when fitting. Pm me if you need any advice.

  2. The main reason I upgraded was because my Bose was suffering from the dreaded hiccups. Kept original speakers and amps. Far superior sound now especially after doing Busters wiring mod regarding the RCA plugs. The fitting kit you need depends on what setup you have at the minute. There is a step by step guide on the incartec website. My steering wheel controls work as before the only diff being the phone button now changes the head unit mode. Halfords had another Alpine unit ( CDE-W233R ) available I store for £50. The only diff with this unit is that their is no Bluetooth.

  3. Hi everyone,

As a regular follower of this forum since I joined in June 2013, I have noticed recently quite a lot of posts from members on this side of the pond. With this in mind, I wanted to put the feelers out to see if anyone from over here ( either North or South ) would be interested in some form of a meet up. I had a chat with KyleR ( one of the longest members from over here ) regards this and he would be very interested.

Maybe an idea would be a drive round the coast with a stop off for food and refreshments. It would be a pity not to take advantage of some of the fantastic scenery and drives we have over here.

    Anyway, completely open to suggestions.

At this stage I wanted to gauge if anyone would be interested.

    Regards. Richard Hezlett.

  4. Opine oils, a trader on this forum have £10 off a £50 spend, plus plenty of other discounts on oils etc. Got all my stuff from them a few weeks back and highly recommended.

  5. I bought an Alpine CDE-W235BT from Halfords a couple of weeks ago. Not a dear stereo but I've been very impressed by it,especially after doing Buster's mod. The interface kit I bought from Incartec included the connector to keep the steering wheel controls. Ian (14N) has one as well and recommended it to myself.
