If you do a search through previous forums you should find someone who turned their Alzean interior to black by rubbing on some sort of solution. Would save you the bother of looking for a swap.

Excellent choice. Yes you will need a facia. For my Bose 03 Z I bought a fitting kit ( includes facia ) FK-256. Didn't need an aerial adaptor. If your Z is Bose 06 onwards I reckon you will need a facia (50-306D) and a steering control interface (29-674). Not sure if you will need an aerial adaptor. Will depend on type of socket on back of your Bose unit. I ordered the kit over the phone and the people at Incartec were very helpful. Don't forget to do Buster's wiring mod when fitting. Pm me if you need any advice.

Open to suggestions on the above to try and get something up and running.

TBH It has not annoyed me at all. Excellent unit for the price. I don't even feel any need to change the standard speakers/amplifiers. I'm more than happy with it for the price. I think you will get the same reply if you want to pm 14N.

Understand. Saw the HUKD too. Haven't had the chance to setup my phone yet but the phone button on the steering wheel now changes the head unit mode from cd to radio etc.

The main reason I upgraded was because my Bose was suffering from the dreaded hiccups. Kept original speakers and amps. Far superior sound now especially after doing Busters wiring mod regarding the RCA plugs. The fitting kit you need depends on what setup you have at the minute. There is a step by step guide on the incartec website. My steering wheel controls work as before the only diff being the phone button now changes the head unit mode. Halfords had another Alpine unit ( CDE-W233R ) available I store for £50. The only diff with this unit is that their is no Bluetooth.

14N and myself have fitted an Alpine CDE-W235BT ( £140 from Halfords ) and found it to be excellent value for money. Just requires a fitting kit which I got from incartec.

Do you own your own business?
If not it's maybe about time you thought about it.

Do you always work on either a Saturday or Sunday?
-
What day of the week are you off or does it rotate?
-
Would you have any good ideas of what would make a good day out?

Great to hear of your interest. Unfortunately I'm not on Facebook but if you want to do it yourself you are more than welcome.

No problems whatsoever.
Excellent idea.

Hi everyone,
As a regular follower of this forum since I joined in June 2013, I have noticed recently quite a lot of posts from members on this side of the pond. With this in mind, I wanted to put the feelers out to see if anyone from over here ( either North or South ) would be interested in some form of a meet up. I had a chat with KyleR ( one of the longest members from over here ) regards this and he would be very interested.
Maybe an idea would be a drive round the coast with a stop off for food and refreshments. It would be a pity not to take advantage of some of the fantastic scenery and drives we have over here.
Anyway, completely open to suggestions.
At this stage I wanted to gauge if anyone would be interested.
Regards. Richard Hezlett.

Opine oils, a trader on this forum have £10 off a £50 spend, plus plenty of other discounts on oils etc. Got all my stuff from them a few weeks back and highly recommended.

Bought my leads from incartec.co.uk when I changed my Bose unit for a Alpine. Highly recommended and prompt service.

+1 for pic 2. Stunning.

When i fitted my Alpine head unit a few weeks back i needed to earth the head unit via the loom wire ( the wire with a eyelet crimp on the end of it). Think it was a black wire.

To date I've had no problems regards power to the amp.

I bought an Alpine CDE-W235BT from Halfords a couple of weeks ago. Not a dear stereo but I've been very impressed by it,especially after doing Buster's mod. The interface kit I bought from Incartec included the connector to keep the steering wheel controls. Ian (14N) has one as well and recommended it to myself.
