black 350z in wigston last week (waved)

black 350z in town monday (no time to wave as i was in a hurry to go home)

white 350z (import it seemed) today approaching saffron lane area (didnt even see me i dont think)

got a replacement already, went for prefacelift as i may be drifting this car....still debating as it just doesnt seem worth investing if it will end up being smashed.0_o

Cant access that video at the mo but there is a lot of chatter on idle from these cars. I was suprised how 'mechanical' the Zed sounds which is worrying as a new owner but you get used to it.

 

Just drive it until it brakes then fix it! As long as clutch isnt slipping just keep an ear out in case it starts to get really loud.

yeh it worried me at first also...through lower gear changes theres a lot of mechanical sounds and pretty loud (i always have the window for fresh air which doesnt help) but yeh....something ill get checked out anyway at cougar store as its just around the corner from me =)

good thing i came across this, mine is exactly the same as the above youtube video, goes when the clutch is down. was so close to ordering a new clutch and flywheel.

Though my first 350z didnt have it

im in need of rear lights and came across these, however they are in the states, just wondering has anyone in the uk used them before??

hi there all,

I own a 05plate 350Z, when purchased it already had condensation in the drivers side rear taillight, after driving it around for 2 weeks i noticed the rear light starting to get dim each time I looked at a reflection or backing up to the drive, at last today its finally dead.

Is this a result of the condensation? making the rear light fail? (the brake light still works) however the normal rear light doesnt work at all now.

thinking to to try changing the bulb or would this just be a temporary fix? any advice is much appreciated!

back home after a 3hr drive with my 2nd 350z sitting outside =) happy days

I can't believe where they put the ashtray in the 350 ~ I'm a smoker but never use it as if I tried to when driving I'd surely crash or just tap ash all over the centre console.

 

Ashtray? Even when i smoked i had the window down, sunshine or thunder storms lol. Thats a glorified coin holder. You either put fags in there, and the car stinks for weeks, or you open window and tap it out (except you have to hold your arm all the way back when releasing the cigarette, otherwise it swoops back into your car and behind your seat.... burn mark..... >.< )

I thought it was just me having to stick my arm all the way out back before releasing the cigarette lol

ok so my front ball joints need changing on my 54plate 350z uk model, called up 1 company in coventry and they told me that there are 2 different sized ball joints for the 350z, 1 was to fit a 41mm base and the other they didnt know as they didnt have them in stock...so now im lost =_= tried searching online and couldnt really find anything...any help much appreciated~

if the black one has rota gtr's and carbon bits then hes not local~ mates got a grey one with carbon bits also, hes from leicestershire area~

Welcome to the Land of Zeds. ....need to change the aerial, stop it looking like a dodgem..!!

lol the aerial doesnt bother me all that much at the moment, its the oem wheels that make me cringe a little every time i look at them

New wheels, drop it few mil, turbo conversion etc etc etc

mods to come:

wheels to fill them big arches

coilovers for drift/track setups

suspension arms and bushes

exhaust and breathing system

turbo if anyone would like to sponsor me? :teeth: after messing around with silvia's for the past few years, jumping into a stock 350z does feel really slow =____= more power needed!
