I understand what you're saying but can't understand why that should be the case No idea but its worked for me for my last 3 cars lol. Same as the parking on a street not your drive.... Doesnt really make sense, Its something along the lines of.... if someone sees your car, wants it, they know which house to break into for the keys... if it's on the street it could belong to anyone. But your right on the +1month thing. Makes no sense but has never not worked for me. I insured a buddy on a Mercedes GL, done the 1month trick and it came down by nearly £200. Granted that is a 70k motor, but it works, try it - every little is a bonus for youngsters on rip-off insurance.

Hey folks, The mileage, speed, DTE etc have all been changed over to the "correct" Uk measurement.. However the MPG hasnt... how can I go about this? new UK gauges plug and play? or is there more involved to it.

Also another quick tip on the insurance IF you insure the car 1 months in advance its cheaper than doing it on the day. however, IF you buy the car and want it insured tomorrow for instance, on the likes of confused.com set the date 1 month in advance just for the quote purpose. accept the quote and when it takes you to the external company website (admiral) for instance. you can then set the time and date you want the insurance to begin (the day you buy the car, not the 1month in advance you just got quoted for).. and it doesnt put your premium back up Hard to explain but im sure you get the jist of it.

I ended up buying an ST at 18, used it for a few years, as soon as I hit 21 I bought myself a 3.4 porsche cayman s, which I modifed to death and the insurance on that was £1000 - VERY Reasonable, you just need to wait it out until you hit the magical age of 21! I am now 22 and the 350z costs me £600 - its not worth paying extreme amounts for insurance costs, put that towards a better car, or in a pot until your 21 Both times have been with admiral

(SLIGHTLY CONCAVE) EDIT : car has been lowered 30mm, tyres will be 235.35.19 and 275.23.19 - Falken fk453 tyres Ets are 20 all around. 8j front, 9.5j rear. From what I've read the ET of 20 wont have a problem clearing the brembos... well so I hope.. IF there is an issue then its get the hubs stripped back for the spacers. total price was £1945 all in with tyres, probably find them cheaper elsewhere but cant be bothered with the hunting anymore. I like them hopefully they fit, so its a go go go

Any buddy its only the top plastic battery cover I imagine the price wont be a huge diffreance from pre-owned to new? Also looking for the brake fluid one, as I painted it a flare orange... and not too sure I like it anymore haha

For sale : "z" emblem . Quick question on the cubby... I take it that it comes with the satnav? Is it the tom tom satnav that is pictured? Are the gauges from a UK model or JDM? I have a JDM model is it just plug and play? price? thanks. EDIT : Also... dont happen to have a battery cover lieing around do you? if so ill take it.

IT wont be leaving the bodyshop until the fit is perfect, the guys working on it understand that and I trust they will do it right.

Popped down to the bodyshop today. Fitment is very poor on the front bumper!! Its coming off and gettting realigned properly. the gaps look hideous! Also the side skirts do not fit... at all...to the point where my fitters told me they WONT fit them and cant be modified to fit. So contacted the company to send out replacement ones as they claim it may of been a "faulty batch" if not getting my money back and looking elsewhere.

Ebay advert for my Cayman S H&R Springs. I Paid £275 for them, never fitted them to my CS. still brand new but the box has been opened. These arrived this week and Just waiting on the Headunit to arrive, the its getting fitted july 2nd (as thats when its booked in) There is 6 speakers there in total,,, 3 boxes. Ordered one too many by mistake. Also the sub and amp are pictured. there has been a slight hold-up at the bodyshop with having all my kit painted fitted etc, looking at tuesday I get it back now.

Thanks for the info folks. I have the car now so will just measure the rear plates (Currently in bodyshop) and let you know how they measure out

Finally found a company to do a full hertz audio install consisting of speakers all around, new amp, new sub etc etc with new double din headunit by pioneer all will fit in the original housing with little modding, but it will look factory. booked in for july 2nd
