  2. MODIFYING IS DONE BY THE PERSON FOR THE PERSON...

Why would you do anything for someone else's benefit??

If you don't like the roof, theres no need to get rude about it! Just don't do YOUR roof green???

I was mearly wondering why. If I was trying to be rude id have said alot worse.

  3. all i have to say it what possessed you to go green on the roof?? lose everything on the roof and its one serious machine, the stillen roof spoiler yes, the rest no.

    Nothing wrong with Green :p

Not if the whole car is done but green accents on an evil looking black beast takes away from the look IMO

as I'm a noob when it comes to EVC's, im going to take my time working it out properly.. but having a fiddle with the basic modes.... :teeth:  :scare: :teeth:

nothing over 0.9 on the stock tubby mate, the ceramic wheel wont thank you for it, at 350bhp that should be it at its most, unless its been upgraded to an rsp tubby with their packages they do...

Didn't know realise you were in Glasgow. Iv got some competition then

Was on SOC for ages but not much happens there for the scots. There's monthly meets on SO, Iv already arranged 2 joint meets with zeds on there so make sure you join up soon

been on their years, best site for skylines IMO,

  6. ....... unless mines the only one with 2 oddly placed holes behind the plate holder??

You've got 2 oddly placed holes behind the plate holder ? :scare:

Yup.... I saying that mines not a hr so maybe they are different?

Only joking, they've all got the holes but the trick is to re-fix your shiny new plate over the holes with double sided tape ... looks a lot better than the plate holder :)

Yeah was going to do that but I wanted to put the plate on the grille for a cleaner lok then I seen the holes so that put a stop to that idea.

  7. A few years back I seen a 350 forum stand at silverstone and 3 cars had l.e.d taillights with a "z" kike those in the light. At the time they looked amazing. But since getting a 350 and going looking for them I cant find the ones I seen, either that or it was so new to be seen then that I just thought all along they were better than what I had seen.

Have a look at the ones in my link at the beginning of the post ?. :scare:

Lol I did their the o es I can find too. Which I remember these ones looking just a little bit nicer...

  9. Welcome

Id go along the lines of

    Rear wiper delete

    Stubby aerial

    Grounding kit

    NIsmo gear knob

    Front plate holder delete

Thats the first £100 done

Grounding kits are a gimmick IMO and thats one cheap bodyshop filling the holes in the bumper and painting it back up for what seems to work out at next to free on that list.... unless mines the only one with 2 oddly placed holes behind the plate holder??

  10.

    Shiny shiny B)

Where did you get those from? Prefer them to my carbon ones.

ill have those carbon ones off you so :D

mods.... none yet :( just a good clean and polish... only ro realise now that the drivers window has stopped working, so gotta pop out the switch and check it before going near the motor which seems to be working as it still drops when opening the door. think i might have to take the wheels off later and paint them too till i can get some tasty ones

  11. Am I right in thinking that the big BHP engines are actually the RB25 single turbo, as they are stronger? Guessing because they use the same block, just not bored out as much.

Nope alot are on the r32 gtr rb26dett n1 block because that is stronger and they have the r34 crank because its a one piece and not as prone to failure like the 32 and 33 gtr crank. They are converted to single turbo though but not the same manifold as the rb25 due to a different bolt pattern. Also the intake plenum on the rb26 is built for maximum air intake unlike the rb25 one which is fairly restrictive and why alot of gtst owners change thiers for an rb26 style plenum.

As I said completely different cars different ways to mod them for what I dropped into mine id have hada 34 gtr but thats not what I wanted at the time.

  12. Buying for 12 and putting 4 in then selling for a massive loss.. bet I can beat it lol.

Bought a 33 gtst for 8k spent 20k modding it and sold it for 4.5k.

As above gtst and gtr are 2 very different cars. Gtr looks more aggressive in stock for stock trim but IMO from experience the rb25det is a much more responsive engine for drivability then the rb26dett.

My Rb25 was tuned to 430bhp then saapped out and tuned an rb26 to 500bhp and I wished id kept the rb25.
