I'm in need of the nuts/plugs whatever they are called that sit inside the front bumper to hold the black plastic number plate mount on. The bolt tightens so much then just spins so i assume they are fecked.
Its the part in the diagram below- Full product number is blanked out though - At least i think it is... 62652E GROMMET-SCREW **284-81F00

I asked a similar question last year and sorted it by changing the non return valve.
Here's my post including a pic of the part you're looking for http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63671-cleaning-screen-washer-jets/page__hl__+return%20+valve#entry943996
Found your post last night and bookmarked it, cheers fella.

Ah cheers folks, il have a search around as i do remember reading something about that valve. Are they all work off one pump, windscreen washers, headlight washers, rear washers ? Headlight washers are powerful enough its just the windscreen washers that sort of dribble out.
-
On my cars previous MOT it says " washer jets weak " it was done at a kia garage so i'm thinking maybe they just don't know what they are talking about with regards to the 350z or maybe they are weak. They just sort of put water onto the top of the wipers and the wipers spread it, is this normal ?

Aye go on then i'l have them.

Can i get a price on the stoptech slotted fronts delivered please.
-
Just road use, won't be doing any track days although spirited driving where suitable will apply .

I need discs/pads all round for my 06 350z. I ran DS2500 on my FN2 but i have since read they are not road legal ? How can something that helps a car stop better be illegal is beyond me and i don't want to invalidate my insurance, a little gutting tbh as they are a seriously good pad.
What other options do I have, am i right in saying its the fronts that matter more than the rears, i have always been told the rear of cars don't need the performance stuff and OK pads/discs will do.
I have done a bit of hunting around but the traders know what their latest offers are, what do you have for me guys ? Will always try and keep my business within the forum if possible as i like to support sponsors.
Before anybody bites my head off, i'm still sat here searching the forum and doing research, not just sitting on my fat backside waiting for everybody else to do the hard work .

Nice car, great colour too, it's the second fastest colour after GM.
Cleaned it which gave it 5bhp, just need the 350zuk sticker now for another 5bhp.

EDIT ----

I think thats the passenger side. There is a bump near the spanner (probably a 13mm ) for the cat.
That turned into a game of find the spanner for me! lol /offtopic
Eyes that bad ? Granted if it was a 6mm then yeah ide let you off, but its a decent size like..
-
If you say they are fine then i'l take your word for it. Genuine ones ain't they ? I'm new to the scene so be gentle. Willing to take any less, can collect whenever as i'l just fly down the motorway in the diesel clio monster.

Its sorted Pete, go back to sleep

Free bump for tarmac. I ran the slotted discs on my FN2, looked great and performed very well. I've been considering them for the 350 this evening.

Can i get one of these please

Cubby Hole door
Pete
Mate, i have searched for everything other than cubby hole as i didn't think anybody would call it that. Thank you !

I'm after the part of the interior in this picture. Its the door that covers the storage compartment above the stereo.
The door between the stereo and the battery/oil/mfd dials

Is the drivers side just thin, hasn't worn through has it. Need a set of mats and was going to buy a new set but could save a few pennies if these are ok. Mum works at hope hospital in salford so may have her pick them up on her way home one day hmm.

Where abouts in manchester tom, are these still available.

Top man, thats cleared it up and stopped my worrying. I wasn't far out at 12mm then . I owe you a pint.

someone buried a body under the carpet
Or money !
And Jez, if this is the passenger footwell in your picture (i'm under the influence of alcohol so help me out here)
If that is the passenger footwell then the lump i'm on about is the one next to the spanner, what is that 12mm ?
-
I think i over exaggerated it, being in new car panic mode. Its only small but does feel designed if that makes sense. Is the cat not located somewhere around there ?
I cant remember TBH, hopefully nothing to worry about!
Me too, got a little worried when i didn't get any forum or google results about it though. Hopefully its there on everybodies, its not a high lump at all but its bugging me/worrying me. Hopefully somebody with a zed can confirm pleaseeee

Also read the footwell gets warm too, due to the cat/exhaust being in that area. I've just looked underneath in the rain and it looks fine, but it does look like its where the exhaust is.

Have done that in the past, but my private plate (on pressed plates) won't be going on yet. I sort of like keeping stuff OEM too.
