  1. Looking to offload my 80s punk collection on vinyl albums, 12" and singles as I now have nothing to play these on so are sittjng in my attic. From the likes of Exploited, Discharge, Crass, Blitz ETC . Need to have a look through for full list but a good site or anyone that can appreciate them again would be good. Don't want to sell them but want a good home for someone that can.

  2. I've not read the thread right through but this is the first car I've had for a while that I leave in gear when parked.this is because my drive is on a slope and the first time I parked and pulled up the HB the car rolled forward so now leave it in reverse and it has no become habit even on flat ground.

  3. Planes, Trains & Automobiles

Are.you related.to.me ;) this is my all-time favourite comedy from start to finish and the wife a film that trully brings tears to the eyes. So many stand out moments apart from the puke inducing end fifteen minutes.the FFing speach at.the car hire and so much more.

  4. Looking good flyboy, as for the op, I like gold wheels, and they can work well on blue cars, but has to be the right shade.

I had gold on my blue scoob and although I agree not something I want to revisit . I am however tempted by the bronze with diamond cut rims as I don't want to go to dark with them .

  5. Is there a guide for the lady driver ;) now that could get tricky  might be auto only for that .

Foreplay could work. I think doing the nasty is out of the question though.

On the plus side clean down is easy in the Z due to the leather seats :D . I had to tell friends that the stains in the back seat of my old XR 2 were tartare sauce from a fillet o fish burger. I was young once.

  6. spit and polish... they do diamond cut split rims ray.

Yeah I've used spit and polish before a few years back without any problems as they've been around for years.I might give Lepsons ago this time as they get some good reviews on other forums.

  7. Haha :wheelchair:

I tried this at a show in London last year and was so impressed I got a bottle which didn't last long :p . It comes from one of the oldest distilleries in the USA and has won a quite a few awards for there Yum yum juice . I'm not associated with this product but it's a smooth brew ans is on Amazon if anybody is interested . If you can find it cheaper let me know as well please .

Just wondering what will be the first ? Stair lift for the kerb or HU only set on radio 4 ;) .only in jest mate as it will be a step up in comfort and still have the oomph when you floor it.

  10. Aliens added a whole new parth for that was a haunted house in space so deserves credit .Blade 2 anyone for the smaller budgit film .

Remakes also worth a mention for me would be John Carpenters The Thing and Casino Royal.

Edit and The Fly remake is pretty cool.

  11. Most memorable visits to the cinema for me.

    Primary school days.

Dad took me to see STAR WARS at Odeon Leicester Square.

Blew me away.and hooked ever since.

    When I was 19.

Saw Jet Li for the first time as Wong Fei Hung in Once Upon A Time In China.

Was a midnight showing for all the HK movie nuts.

    The whole theatre went nuts.

    Last but not least.

    The Matrix.

Visuals took it to the next level.

I don't think any other action based films have been as revolutionary as these.

Maybe you can jog my memory if I've missed any others.

Star Wars was my introduction to the cinema also as a nine year old and loved films ever since .the matrix upped the stakes for the geek in me but there have been a few that have tried to change thing's Inception and looper being the recent of them.

  12. Two of my favourite films are Shawshank Redemption and Robocop, both clearly for different reasons.

Recently I've found myself watching Avengers Assemble a million times as I work from home and its been on Sky for weeks. Never get bored of watching it (in the background!) or indeed Scarlett Johannson.

Happy about the Robocop remake coming soon I for one don't think it will be a patch on the original .it will be another diluted remake witgoit anything that made the original so much fun to watch.

  13. Chaps, i own the cafe at Cobtree Country Park Aylesford, have a massive car park and am happy to provide free teas and coffees to all zedders. Why dont you all come to my gaff (breakfasts, lunches avail of course, discount likely if you are smiley and friendly lol), we are right next to M20.

have a massive new kids play area for the kids among us !!

    ????????????

OPEN 7 days all year round.

    Don.

I take it the police have cured the Doggiing practices that went on at cobtree then ;)

  14. Oh and I f****ng hate anything with hobbits, goblins, orks, magical rings, long drawn out tourism advert cinematography for New Zealand or Harry P***er!

One word " minority " magic potter goblins sells = geek + computer + bedroom no girlfriend or boyfriend? Hollywood's new direction. ;)

  15. Ganster Squad .

A mini review of the Blu Ray , PIcture and sound are both excellent as you would expect from a modern film on blu.

Was looking forward to this as I'm a fan of LA Confidential , The Untouchables and mullholland Falls even though the reviews of this weren't great when released.

It has aspects of all three but fails to become a film in its own right for a film with some serious acting talent on show . Everyone is just going through the paces on this including the story which never really grabs you .The film has the odd moments and does look rather stylish but there is little else on display and gets a little lost in not knowing what it wants to be action, drama or story driven.if you like a film from this period in history then go do LA Confidential as it can't really be beat .This could of and should of been a great film if they had decided on a direction for it ,as it is its a bit of a mind mash of better films.

    5 / 10 for me .
