  1. No problem Keyser, send me a PM. I'll get a pick of one of my nuts ( ) as i'm a bit worried about losing one...Thank you.
  2. Hey Keyser, thanks for the offer mate. I don't think they're fat and chrome, from memory they're dull silver. Tesco car park is speed bump free. You don't have to go into Port Solent, it's Tesco Northarbour (next to port solent)
  3. Just give me a shout guys, whenever you're down this way or setting up a meet. I'll happily shoot your cars for you and teach you the ways of the light (for beer and newbie advice / questions without the rolling of eyes ) ...hmm, new wheels, I do have money burning a hole in my pocket...
  4. The more the merrier! We could turn it into an impromptu Z meet...Krispy Kreme Donuts at Port Solent Tesco's, Wednesday nights at 7:30pm (but not next week). - P.S. Anyone know what the wheels are on my jap Z? I'm missing a wheel nut this evening...will the local Nissan dealer be able to sort me out?
  5. Ahh Humpy, so close! You're more than welcome. I'm located in Portsmouth.
  6. I do it on the regular Humpy. Even more so as the weather improves. We try to meet every wednesday night to find somewhere for some night shooting shenanigans. I just had to tonight as I got the Z yesterday...even if it was persisting down! - and thanks Sam!
  7. Thanks for the pic love guys. Dblock is right, light painting. No photoshop, just long exposure (bulb setting) in a DSLR on a tripod. The 350z badge was done using a 2 meter long stick of LED's, programmable, 'walked' along as they flash to leave behind your picture of choice
  8. Hey all. Just thought i'd share a couple of shots from this evening's night shoot. Off forum I dabble in a bit of night photography. All shots taken in camera, no Photoshop. I hope you enjoy! 350z on Flickr The Z Shed on Flickr New beast on Flickr
  9. Nice one my man, yes i have a Zed in the pipeworks so just watch this space. Yes the white one, where do i start, did you ring them up at all, if there was ever an attitude to drive someone away while trying to sell something, they was the guys. Ive dealt with alot of cockneys but even though the car is legit and such, they sounded so dodgy it was crazy. I did ring them up, they just seemed so...shady. Still ended up buying one from some Londoners (albeit Lebanese). Lovely guy to deal with. So you've found a Z, finally?
  10. Somebody stop me, i've only had my 350 a day and i'm already thinking: 1) Down to the local ICE installers to upgrade the battery, double din and rip out the jap satnav straight after work 2) Local wheel and bodyshop guys around the corner to sort the alloys and the bumper scuffing 3) Into the garage for a full checkover This is the first car i've ever owned where I actually want to take care of it and "make it better". I've just come from a Range Rover Sport 4.2 Supercharged to a 10 year old 350z and feel like a teenager again! Will it ever get better? Oh, just to add, i'm a complete novice and totally un-mechanically minded...but I know what I like.
  11. Hello Dean. I just joined up today but started on here reading your posts about looking for a Z. I was even looking at buying the same crazy white one you were looking at...with the london wideboys selling it. Needless to say, didn't buy it, but bought a different one today! Now i'm hearing about this Zshed malarkey...I was in Dorset on sunday looking at a Z from Southborne motors as i'm not too far away in Portsmouth. Hopefully you'll find one (if you haven't already). That drive back from London today was something special...
  12. Hey all. Short time lurker, i've been around for all of a week. Took the plunge today and bought a 53 plate jap import GT for the princely sum of £5k. Full Nissan main dealer history. Just driven it back from London to Portsmouth and i'm in LOVE. Needs a little tidy, the front alloys need a clean up, the drivers side window sticks a bit...and the satnav + stereo need to be ripped out!...apart from that, all is good :-) It was a toss up between a 54 plate uk for £8k and this one. I figure I can use that £3k to sort it to my liking. Not interested in resale value, I intend to keep it for the long haul. I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better.
