  1. No definitely not. As long as your tyres are ok u will have no problems.
  2. Yep spot on, between Beare Green and capel. Just after the Beare Green roundabout there was quite a bit of standing water yesterday. I have seen this guy about before and tbh he drives like a complete knob. So wouldn't surprise me if it was his own fault!
  3. Black nismo 370z crashed northbound on a24 today. I have a feeling he was heading south bound, lost control and went across center verge and over 2 lanes of incoming traffic. Whoever it is I hope you are ok!
  4. This is my car! Some of your comments do make me laugh! I bought the car with the lpg system already fitted so I haven't had to recoup any of the install costs. The guy I bought it off sold it within 10k miles of having it fitted, I have no idea why but he certainly didn't get his money's worth! His loss is my gain, I know he px'd it for a new range Rover Vogue so maybe he won the lottery or something. I did a lot of research before I bought the car and spoke to the company that did the install, they are one of the best lpg installers in the country which put my mind at rest. Proof is in the pudding as I have had 3 years use out of it with not 1 issue. In terms of performance difference there is none. If anything if it was tuned properly lpg would produce more power as it is 112ron. Regarding boot space, yes the tank does take up some space in the boot. Never been a problem for me as I can still fit 2 weekend bags or 2 sets of golf clubs the other side of the strut brace. I can also fit my fishing gear in with no issues. The prins lpg system is top of the range. I would not consider getting any other system. It has a valve saver kit fitted which resolves any worries of valve seats wearing. Would I pay to have an lpg system fitted myself- no I probably wouldn't as I don't cover enough miles for it to be cost effective. However I would have no hesitation in buying another car with a Prins lpg system. So much so the next car I want to get is a Monaro with a prins system already fitted. I have had 3 years of 350z performance with the running costs of a diesel, I don't really see the downside. If anyone has any questions about lpg systems in general I am more than happy to offer help and advice. Cheers, Mark

    OEM Cats

Hi guys, I'm still after a set of OEM cats for DE engine. Moved house shortly after posting this request so decided to carry on running with my decats for a few more months as funds have been tight. Currently running Kinetix resonated decats which will become available once the OEM ones are fitted. Cheers, Mark

    OEM Cats

Sounds good Benjy, are they off a DE or an HR? Realised I've been a bit of a numpty and not given enough details! It's for a 350z DE engine. Many thanks!

    HFC's

My OEM cats are on their way out so I've been thinking of upgrading to some HFC's. Thought I would check on here to see if anyone had any that they no longer need before I go and order a new set. Please let me know if you have anything suitable for a 2005 uk model. I'm near Epsom in Surrey so would be happy to collect if not too far away, if not I'll be happy to cover cost of postage. Many thanks, Mark
  13. I'm interested! After a Berk HFC for my 05 350. Let me know if you get enough interest.

  16. Title is pretty self explanatory! Looking for a bluetooth phone adapter. If you have one going spare drop me a PM. Happy to pay the going rate. Just did a quick search and they seem to be going for between £60-65 inc postage. Cheers!
  17. Thanks for the welcome everyone! @dblock: I'll try and get some pics up of under the bonnet. It's Prins VSI with valvecare fitted. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea on here but I have read some very good things about it and it seemed a good compromise for me. I also spoke to the company that fitted it (Hilton Autogas) and they have confirmed they have carried out all the servicing since the install. They have some excellent reviews online so I feel confident that it has been fitted properly. @Will370z: gutted was an understatement! The girl that hit me was moaning about how she had just replaced her rear tyres the day before, she looked a bit sheepish when I told her I only bought the car a week ago! @WhackyWill: I did think about buying it back, but as it was only a week old I really couldn't be bothered with the hassle! Both rear chassis arms were bent and I didn't want to risk running into any problems down the line. The insurance company initially wanted to repair it, but as it had so much damage I just wanted my money back so I could look to get something else. I paid less than the book price for it, so all I will say is that I was more than happy with the payout!
  18. Hello everyone! I'm Mark living in Surrey. Bought my first zed at the end of November, lovely black 313... Unfortunately a week later someone slammed into the back of me while I was sat stationary at a set of traffic lights... Pictures don't really do it justice, here is the other car,,, It doesn't look that bad in the pictures, but there was about £7000 worth of damage so it was written off! My Zed was Dead after a week of ownership! I was in a strange position because normally I would just look to get something different, but as I had only owned the Zed for a week I felt I had unfinished business! I then had a change of heart and decided that I wanted to try and get something more economical for day to day driving, and get myself a cheap little track car. Then I spotted this on autotrader... It's a couple of years older than the original car but with similar low mileage, it was a few grand cheaper so it would leave some money left over for my track toy! Most importantly it has been LPG converted using a prins VSI system. I have just finished my first tank of gas and I did about 200 miles on £35! Not bad at all!! It's a 280 so is not as quick as the original car, but if I'm getting the equivelant of 40-45mpg it's a compromise I can live with! The LPG system is excellent, no noticible difference in power when running on gas or petrol. Only downside is the boot is even worse than it is normally, not a problem for me as I can use the Mrs 4x4 if need be. Had it for a couple of weeks now, and every time I drive it the V6 roar leaves a massive grin on my face! Now I just got to find a cheap track toy!!
