  1. I have a set of Rays for sale with tyres 7 mm front 6mm rear , the wheels are not to bad they have a few marks 1 kerb rash / 2 areas of blistering under paint and some small chips, where the wheel bolts are seems to be the front ones that are worst , the tyres are autogrip f107 not the best grip in the wet but didnt have any real issues in the dry, Pm if you want more pic sets thanks Azcry
  2. After updating my single din to double din I used a fitting kit that didnt need the original mountts, but it is pooh, as my unit is touch screen it just feels insecure, so i need to adapt it. But as the owner before me had the single din installed to replace the bose, the brackets were disposed of tried Zmanalex but he has none at the moment, so was wondering if anyone that has put in a single din unit, may have these kicking around and would like some beer tokens for them. Thanks

  6. I had exactly the same type of accident back 2010, when a lorry decided to move from the outside lane to the inside lane after overtaking another car behind me. He obviously didn`t see me in the missus vw polo, got sideswiped and sent off the road, fortunatly we missed any roadside furniture and just had 2k worth of damage done., with no injuries or anything, which was sorted by the lorrys insurance very quickly as they accepted full liability, my insurance didn`t even get involved, However in the last 18 months i have been constantly hassled by injury compensation claim companies saying i am entitled to money, I have no intention of claiming anything as i was not injured, i spoke to my insurance company about why am i getting these phone calls and they have found out, that the lorry driver claimed 2K for personal injury of his companies and that the claim is still open in case I claim, I think its fraud how the hell can a driver of a 15 ton arctic hitting a little vw polo get hurt/, plus it was his fault. No wonder insurance keeps going up with cases like this.
  7. Thanks for the warm welcomes people
  8. Hi all, reached the great milestone of 50,and thought i would treat myself to a 350z, always been a fan since the car first appeared, but could never afford one,and now at 50 i gone and done it, sunset orange (mrs thinks i look like a pimp in it ) 45k miles 2003 gt model, I found the guides here a great help when looking for a good one didnt want it messed around with, or plastered with bolt on go faster stuff that really does nothing. Took me about 10 weeks to find one, after looking at about 6 all with differing issues, from clicking axles, to poor gearbox selection, poor care of interia, general lack of care, I found one at a sports car specialist took 90 min test drive and 30 mins later done the deal. Had it a week now but only driven it 3 times due to the bloody snow, very impressed with the 150 miles i have done in it tho, certainly attracts attention, and 26mpg average, bet that wont last as i get used to it and put some high quality tyres on the back, as dealer put 2 new tyres on and they are some cheap make, so thats the first job. Having come from a few fairly sporty cars this has to be the best in terms of refienment and outright grunt, having had celicas, mx5`s RX8, range oF GTi`s, xr4I, capri 2,8 the RX8 is the nearest but has to worked hard to match the Z. and best of all being 50 insurance has dropped vastly , £329 fully comp , thats £80 less than it was last year for my mx5, look forward to contributing and learning from the more experienced owners on here. Will get some pics up soon as this damn weather clears.
