When he quoted he told that one disk will cost £80....I think I Will have to wait and see ...if he bullshited me than I'll take it with him..But meanwhile if someone can give me a helping hand and check few things with my car I will gladly appreciate...will pay for inspection,if it's reasonable amount..

I would appreciate any help ....I based in London,Maida Vale,w9 postcode...Can travel reasonable distance...

Forgot to mention..I actually seen worn disk...it was not smooth at all on the inside ...there was a gvoove and pad on that side was half worn..pads were changed by previous owner 1 month ago!!! He told me about the disk only because I had problem with exast ...only at that time he figure out that disk is worn..problem was that piston didnt work properly ,hence the damage to disk..

I paid £390 which includes: new front pads,new disk,second hand piston(as new one is about £400?) and some welding on exaust,as there was small hole which made it rattle...I don't know if ive been robbed or anything like that..But my gut tells me something is not right..Specially with the braking at the moment..Garage looks very well equipped and they in business for ages...

He advised me to change both but I couldn't afford it! It would cost me fortune...He admitted that one side can be changed ,but not recommended.Not sure what to do now! I know jack @*!# about the cars...May be I should wait a bit and see how it goes,or someone can offer a helping hand..I based in LOndon,w9...but could travel

Just wondering ,if it's possible to check what was done on p3 service..I just done one,at friends friend garage...Pasid cash by agreement,no paperwork by there is a stamp in the service book..Also changed plugs...I'm a bit skeptic what was done..gut feeling tells me that something is not right...Car is fine ,but just didn't like guy attitude...May be im just paranoid!

Hi,guys! Just changed front driver side disk ,pads and one piston..the guy told me that breaks will be a bit spongy for few weeks.every time I break I have to do it twice like: break than release and break again ,in this case car breaks properly.he explained it to me that it will be like that for a while,cause I changed only one disk...Is he wright or i have been bullshited? the other thing I have squcking rear breaks,pads were changed by previous owner,and he was told by garage that they have to wear off slightly and noise will disappear.Also guy who changed my front disk told me that pads not brembos but some cheap ones,hence the noise. Other thing which bother me slightly is a flashing airbag system indicator.previous owner said its fine,its just sensor playing up a bit cause of freezing weather! Is that the case or another bullshit???? He told me it was reset by garage twice,but still flashing...

Just bought the z and paying the same ,£1265 a year..has 3 years no claim,but with my company van..admiral doesn't take it in consideration..I'm 32 .....also if you live outside London ,I Beleive is cheaper to insure...I'm in central London... Want cheap insurance,buy Nissan micro :-)

Think I can spend around £600..Even if its a second hand stereo..I like deep bass and good midrange..Also hate when things ratling inside when music playing,thats probably down to sound proofing which most likely another ££££ involved..

Its has rear speakers and sub...Funny enough its no told in log book its a gt model,but I think it is.Have leather electric seats and rear speakers and sub...I think there is no output for sub in that multimedia,thas why its not working..Anyway,do you guys know a fitter who is doing it profesionally,so I can pop in and we can disccuss what are my options?

I got my 350z last week...Car has aftermarket multimedia player Ripspeed 740 which connected to original bose stere(think sub is not even connected).Sound is rubbish .Im thinking to upgrade my stereo with quality sound..Not sure if Head Unit needs to go or can be worked with.I need a pro who can advise me and do the job..Unfortunatelly ,Im not A rich boy,but love good sound ..Need guidence guys! Do u think updated ones will hold boot with spoiler? That is what the uprated ones are for, so should be fine. I have got a pair waiting to be fitted but not home for a week or so can't tell you yet how good they are, however I have heard nothing but good things about them. Let me know whn they on...

@dave.. U think so? Hmm... What the current owner told me,cause of boot spoiler whole thing became heavier ,that's why it coming down ... If new struts won't help than ,the only option to take boot spoiler off,which more cost involved (holes drilled trough the bottom of the boot to hold spoiler in place)

Hi,guys! New to forum,plz be gentle with me! :-) Planning to purchase Jdm model,have seen it yesterday.it's register in uk since 2009. Few things I would like to know: How different is the insurance for Jdm car from uk one?is it more expensive,cheap or the same? How easy to make second key/ duplicate,as car only has one key with immobiliser? No satnav there ,but thinking to install my own in future.Will it be paint in the neck to install one as its a JDM car and I heard it may be not that simple to do?Thank you
