  1. Hi guys, 

     

    The protective corrosion coating applied to the rotors (believed to be that)....I’ve recently read that this should be removed prior to road use. I presumed the bedding in process would remove the coating naturally? Although it would clog up my new pads.

     

    Please could someone advise.

  2. I need to replace a few items on the underside of the car. W brace being one item. My preference would be to buy a new OEW brace, although it’s pretty foreseeable that it may require replacing again in the future.... just wondering how long the new OEM’s have held up. I’m sure some in here must have gone like for like.

    Ok, presumed the OEM would be noticeably lighter as I understood that Work wheels are known to be heavy (apparently). 

     

    Ultimately I require a new set of wheels. Fancied some works, although these look nice. Profile could cause me issues  

  4. Hi Guys, 

     

    I need to replace a broken disc (akebono) and am considering replacing all discs and pads. Stoptech are a little pricey. EBC USR on the other hand could be within budget. 

     

    Does anyone have experience with USR? Wondering if they are any good. Fast road use only with Red/Yellow stuff pads.
