Well, picked my Zed up tonight and to say I love it would be a massive understatement! She's absolutely spotless and I'm chuffed to bits with her! So glad I waited for the right one to come up. Christmas really has come early for me! :-) So, as promised, here are some pics..........

I have heard others say similar to this Beavis wrt losses due to heat soak. May just consider a high flow panel filter for the standard air box then if it seems to work well.

Well I think I am hooked on the look and sound of the Nismo after seeing more of them (damn my expensive tastes! Lol). Thanks for the advice though. Think once I eventually get one (which sounds like it could be an eternity at this rate) I am going to add some Berks HFCs too (and perhaps a different y pipe from what I've heard) and maybe a cold air intake too. What's peoples opinions on the best intake.... Narrowed it down to JW, ARC or Nismo???? So anyone want to be kind enough to end my misery and sell me their Nismo S tune please? Come on, it is Christmas! ;-p lol Failing that, what is the best price new that one can be had for, group buys included?

Welcome dude! I'm a newbie here too, from the Kent area. Think that is sunset orange rather than temper orange mate (hence the chewit comment lol). Temper was a colour for the 2006> only i think? Google 'temper orange 350Z' and you'll see the difference. Nice colour Sunset though, same as my new one and the best colour for a zed IMO ;-) I have family in Bognor Regis just down the road from you and am down there a lot, so may see you around :-)

Is the Weldina different then? £650 - £850 sounds good, as long as it's clean and damage free. May be pushed into blowing stupid money on new if I have to wait too long :-(

Just love the look, as well as the sound of the Nismo (classy ;-), although HFCs will be needed to get it sounding its best. Good call on the meet. YouTube clips are one thing, but nothing compares to seeing / hearing them in the flesh to make the best decision I spose.

Japspeeds look great value for money and I know the quality of their welds etc is good, as I have one on my MR2 turbo, but just a little worried from what I've read on here that it would be unbearably loud (damn saying that makes me sound old :-/ lol). P.S. Steve, think I may have sourced a cargo net from Alex. Thought I'd let you know, just in case you were going to order me an extra one in, cheers.

Thanks Steve, think I may have spoken to you earlier on eBay wrt cargo net. I believe that the nismo cat back systems retail for around £1350 new and having only just bought my Zed, that's a bit out of my price range at the moment, sorry. Will keep my eye out for a clean used example, but thanks for the offer!
