  1. here's a strange one,

so was out in the car yesterday on the Renegades run,

lets just say the car was driven like it had never been before, i'm not talking about excessive speed,

but there were back roads and motorways and some very aggressive driving keeping up with a few ferraris, few R8s and other big engine cars.

anyway last night on the way home, cars would pass me and hit their hazards lights, i knew something was up,

i pulled over and my rear lights were not working,

turned off the car and lights a few times, but still no rear lights, my brake lights worked okay though.

i looked everywhere and could not find any fuses for rear lights.

got up this morning and looked everywhere again and still can't find a fuse for the rear lights,

decided to checked the rear lights again and they are now working. WTF?

could something have got loose or a connection heated up and moved or anything like that, due to the 6 hours of abuse the car got?

  2. i know what you mean, i had this same problem on my 2005 350Z

    i removed the shield.

had the car for 5 years and had no trouble with the shield not being there ,

now i'm not saying it's a good idea to remove it, it must be there for a reason, but i took mine out

Thank God it's not just me, I was doubting if they had sent me the correct exhaust. I think if in five years there have been no problems it's safe to assume it will be okay! Unless someone has had other experiences?

looks like near everyone had the same problem

  6. i found this it might also help people,

go to the link set language to english and when you click on the part number on the right, it highlights that part in the picture,

or click the part on the picture and it shows the part number to the right,

it makes it easier to follow which parts are which.

    does nismo and 2011 bumpers.

even better it does the whole car , see the menu at the top of the screen

  7. Hi mate,

I've done this and have the part numbers somewhere. I can't get them now but I'll post them up tomorrow when I get home from work.

There are additional parts your need.

Front wheel arch extensions which are around a fiver. Rear arch liners around £60 each. Front bumper insert £30ish each, plus some small plastic inserts which are a few quid. All in I think it's around £1400 plus painting.

That doesn't include the Daytime running lights (£650 each) or the front and rear nismo badges which come to around £150 on top.

    perfect, thank you

i'll not be getting the DRLs, going to fill the holes with mesh and i'll not bother with the nismo badges, i meant to say that :)

  8. I'm thinking about putting the 370z 2015 nismo front, rear bumper and sideskirts on my 2011 GT edition 370Z

does anyone have a full list of all of the item numbers of all the parts you need to order from nissan for.

    370Z 2015 Nismo Front bumper

    370Z 2015 Nismo Rear bumper

    370Z 2015 Nismo sideskirts.

am i right that the nismo parts will all just fit?

i was in nissan today to get prices and the guys did not know what i needed, they told me to come back with a list of item part numbers,

  9. here's what i don't understand, when people say super markets fuels is bad quality,

because doesn't all fuel come from the same tankers at what ever docks fuel gets delivered too?

so is it a case of their own under ground tanks having dirt in them or what?

i'll also say, every Z ive owned has never had anything more than 97 octane in them, because that's all there is here in my area, makes no sense to use a quarter to half tank to drive elsewhere to get a higher octane

  10. I've had my 370Z just over a year now, and to be honest the handling is @*!# compared to my last two 350Zs, the back felt light and there was understeer,

although to be fair both my 350Zs were lowered with plenty of good camber ;)

so i had an idea, it was to stick 20mm spacers on the back wheels,

did it earlier tonight and spent the last 30 minutes out driving the car with spacers added,

i don't know how else to explain this but the handling is now as i would like it to be, the car handles far better and im happy,

  11. ZMANALEX, actually the pic of the ones you posted do look the same as the link SHEZZA posted

    http://www.nengun.co...o/wheel-nut-set

they must be the right ones,

now if i could only find them at a lot less than £95.00

    No they are different.

The image I posted up are the genuine OEM Nismo LMGT4 black steel lugs that come with the original LMGT4 wheels.

These are what you want, if you want to stay authentic.

Remember that the normal size hex will not fit in the LMGT4 wheel aperture, as it is smaller.

The size you require is M12XP1.25 17mm hex.

If you go more than 17mm hex you will damage the wheel.

Plenty in stock if you are not sorted.

    Alex. :)

ZMANALEX ive looked again and now i see they are different lol,

i had my mind set on red ones like tarmac posted, god i don't know what to do now, i need to decide

thanks, i now know you have the originator ones in stock

  12. Your Nismo wheels were supplied for the 350s but they do fit the 370's. As long as you use the tapered style of nut with those wheels you are fine. Do NOT use the flat bottom/washered style that are specifically for the 370 wheels.

Having seen the nuts ZMANALEX supplied I recall these were supplied with with the LMGT4's although the standard 350 OEM nuts do fit, iirc. The longer version are better though so that there is less chance of your socket slipping off and damaging the nut recess's on the wheels - but I taped my sockets as an added preventative to avoid damage as the recess diameter is very restricted on the LMGT4's.

thanks Ebized, it's making sense to me now :)
