  1. They're both the same part number for both cars CCC367, so looks like one size fits all
  2. Mike, I'm going to give it a miss, I can get a new one on ebay for £137.00 delivered so by the time the postage is on there wouldn't be much difference In price. Thanks anyway, & good luck with sale.
  3. Mike, on the website it looks like they come in a storage bag, do you have that? I'd have thought it'd be ok to compress into a cardboard box for posting?
  4. I'm in Norfolk G-Man, as far east as you can get! Thanks for the offer but I'm still a long way from where you are heading!
  5. Mike, I'm interested in the cover but I'd need it posting, too far for me to click and collect! Regards, Brett
  6. If you've got £25K to spend and fancy a 370, Desira Nissan Norwich & Great Yarmouth have brand new GT specs (2012 MY), for £27K.
  7. I started off running mine only on V-power then Nitro or whatever its called now, then out of necessity one day had to top up with Murco Super unleaded, after that I tried the BP ultimate, then Tesco Momentum &lastly Sainsbury's. I've not noticed any difference in performance, economy, engine noise etc. etc. between any of the fuels. Now I just fill up with whatever's nearest when I need it. Much easier than hunting down Shell stations!
  8. Thanks for all your replies Chaps. KR's Brett
  9. Thanks Guys, I will try to relax about it then. If my engine blows up I will blame you lot! Just kidding
  10. That's what I'm thinking, during the running in process normally you see a certain amount of metallic particles in the first oil change. A lot of new cars do not require "running in" but as Nissan are recommending it, I would presume it's for a reason. I think I will feel happier with new oil before I hit the 9K or 1 year mark.
  11. That was my original plan also..... Now look what I've done!
  12. Never really meant it to happen like that but sometimes the heart has to rule the head
  13. Sorry, I should have said, I would ask nissan to do it, not myself although I'm happy to do work myself.
  14. I'm currently running in (according to the manual) my new 370Z, I've done about 200 miles so far out of the prescribed 1200. I'm thinking I should drop the oil & change the filter before the book service interval (9000 miles) although the book doesn't say anything about this. What do you reckon? Cheers Berty
  15. Hello all, bit of an update. I gave up looking for a 350Z. Because I've just bought a new 370Z GT Edition in Black Rose! Done just over 200 miles in it so far & loving it!
  16. Thanks for all the replies chaps, good to hear it's possibly not an issue. For those that asked the car is for sale with a trader. I'd much rather buy off an enthusaiast but I have a bit of a hurdle in that I need to offload a Land Rover first to make space on the drive. The Landy was just a fun vehicle but I never use it anymore so want to get rid. I'll probably never see the value of it if I chop it in but I want to get it moving as quickly as possible. I'm happy to sell it privately as there's nothing wrong with it, but I don't want to get stuck advertising it for ages. The trader possibly won't take the Landy as it's pretty extensively modified & would appeal to an enthusiast more than a casual buyer. I need a Zed now!
  17. Hi, Newbie hopeful owner here I've started looking for a Zed & was after some advice, I can't find much info on the net about headgaskets on these engines failing which I guess is a good sign as it can't be that common? I've viewed a car this week which overall looks pretty good, but whilst checking it over noticed some mayo in the oil filler cap, also a little around the threads in the fill hole in the rocker cover. Couldn't see any bubbling in the coolant when it was running, no excessive smoke from the exhaust but I've had bad luck with head gaskets on Rover V8 engines in the past (know this is a proper built engine compared to that ) & I'm nervous about getting caught out! I'm probably going to pass on this one because of the mayo, shame as it has a lot which is right. Local car, GT model, 54 plate, FSH at local Nissan dealership, 49,000, clean, couple of modifications. Stainless exhaust, Jim Wolf air cleaner & shield, double din touch screen stereo. What do you reckon, steer clear? Thanks & regards, Brett
  18. Thanks for the welcome all. I've got a question about one I've just viewed but I'll post in the correct forum later. Thanks Brett
  19. Hello all, just signed up as I'm intending to buy a 350Z ASAP. I've been to look at & test driven a few; both import & UK cars but don't think I've found the right car yet. Cheers, Brett
