I still think its a throttle body or an air flow sensor or both or all four

im in crewe Elite haven't got a clue what there doing it did the manual ecu reset my self and it ran sweet as a nut but when I went out in it later it was back so I haven't got a clue now ,and im taking it back to them has I had oily hand prints all over the steering wheel an engine they have cut the wiring loom ties put tape on a piece and a bit of silicone pipe to the k&ns is a bit of old pipe that don't even fit .so I have phoned trading standards and told me what to say and do , see what happens in the morn

hi I have put an update on another post not at mo its been into some one told me its fixed they said it was spark plugs and cost me a fortune from Nissan and I picked it up and the prob was still there so now they saying its fuel probs

thanks M13KYF I will look that up and they have had it on a machine again today and there is no fault codes/reading coming up and they did a smoke test through one of the air filters to see if the is any lose of air suction and that was ok so they have stripped it all down again for what ever reason and now there saying its a fuel ,or something wrong with the fuel so they are taking it on a road test tomorrow but there not filling me with confidence ,I will take it to Nissan if alls not well tomorrow

is that just disconnect the battery has I did that before I removed anything but I think the mechanic pulled the air flow meter and throttle body pugs off without disconnecting the battery the first time

hi they (elite) went to Nissan and got the plugs from them

LOL just pick her up drive it 2 miles and took it straight back has problem not gone I don't think it is a spark issue .They going to look at it again and let me no I can see me part ex for something else

After scratching my head the other week after changing spark plugs and the engine revving up and down after changing, I decided to take it in to Elite in crewe and they put it in for some diagnostic testing and told me the plugs I got from a motorsport place that deals in jap cars are no good the HR engine will only run on denso plugs and not any other .

It just said 350z and infinity g35 exhaust system and then i got the stainless y pipe togo with it from the u.s.a and the problem still there iv took it all apart again today and checked all the plugs and pipe and the only thing i can see is were i have took the pipe off the throttle bodys i have got an air lock in the coolent part off it but another mechanic said it could be fuel related but i think im going to have to take it in to someone

Took it all to bits again this morn run fine for five mins until i drove it an it either sits at 1500rpm or it revs up and down the little coolen pipe that runs through the throttle bodys will it need bleeding or should it sort it self out

No its back in bits this morn it wont stop revving so i stripped it back down to make sure the collosal amount of plugs onit

Just upgraded to EBC dimpled and grooved disc's with yellow stuff pads and the k&n typhoon kit stainless steel exhaust sounds well nice

I had alsorts off cos of nissan i will take engine cover off and check everything again just glad its not major

Hi thanks to all that gave me info on spark plugs they got changed this morn but now the engine drops its revs when warm but continues to rev up and down have i dun something or is there a fault on something

When you say asap do you meen this weekend has i just got a stainless steel one off ebay from the u.s.a an it took 2 days toget here it was £120 with p&p

hi jp606 you say 14mm plug socket and the plugs I have been given are for a 16mm plug socket they are a long and thin thread

Sorry no im using a thin long plug tool from halfolds it fits the new plug but might be wrong for old plugs

It reaches to bout top of the plug were second ridge is an i think its hitting that i took it to mpb motorsports in crewe last year and they said they couldnt find the right plugs but got to put it all back together first due to helpful nissan not lol

I got one from halfords and it still dont go down due to the collar its prob 0.5 mm wider than the round part of the plug and i only took all that off has thats what nissan said todo

Hi can any one help its time to change my spark plugs its took me an age to find right ones has nissan issued wrong book for car , i have just brought the thinest plug tool i could find but it dont go in deep enough to get to the plug ,so i phoned nissan to see if there was a special tool for it an they said you have to take strut brace off inlet manifold and then the rocker covers i have taken it off at one side but the metal sleave to the plug is still there can any one advise on how to change the plugs please. Thanks matt

They cost 99p off ebay has he up graded whole system

I don't think so the head unit looks same but don't say bose on tape deck like some i also purchased the amp at same time do i need full wiring from head unit
