Hi & ,
Congratulations on your purchase , I think to enjoy the car and in the interest of your own safety MSS is a very good option.

QUICK ...get rid of the fishing rod before the veterans get you...
nice rims though.

Before "ZEDITIS" sets in... the 1st Mod should be to your driving style...You've got to know the LADY first.

Best £100 you can spend to start with is a tank of fuel then go for a blast and get to know the car and what it is capable of. Plenty of time for adoration and cosmetic mods once you have blown a few tanks

If there is room for one more in the next batch...add me to the list please

Big sigh of relief there as I realised you were talking about brakes and not me!
I honestly thought that was the case.... until I read further......

Some one who inspired me to get a "Z" had a similar problem when he left it stationary for a while. The problem in his car was the battery. Got himself a new battery and had no problems with the boot opening.
Good luck .

So I attended my first meet ...Wales 2013 ...and was advised to try the K1 without bungs......As much as I had read up that they can be "LOUD".... I decided to experiment and got them removed ....After a couple of days I am now partially deaf...and the bungs are
in. Not to mention I am on the hit list of many in the neighborhood .

Only cause you're scared that I would drive faster than you. I have with every other car you've owned

A lot of people don't like them and have had bad experiences with them, I've had mine nearly two years and its still in great condition and fits fine, admittedly mine does get cleaned well but it has seen snow and salt and lives outside. At the end of the day it's a cheapy so if you do decide six months down the line you don't want it then its no real problem, there is generally one up for sale around the forum though so may be get a second hand one and see how you go
+1
I've had mine for nearly 6 months and absolutely love it. If I want to go bananas I take the bungs out... rest of the time with the bungs in it is still entertaining and drive able...EVEN ON MOTORWAYS.
mine does get the metal polish every now and then...

Why would one do that to the side skirts ?
Even after that abuse he couldn't get the colur to match

A big thank you to Taras & Ray.
The kit arrived in good order. the fit was brilliant and required very little adjustment.
Got compliments from passerby's while doing the test fit. Happy days .
