Aye its on my list of things to do!

Loving the car so far, its not even proving as bad as I thought on the go-juice. Showing 25 MPG at the moment. I was only getting 30 out of the 172 so its not much worse, though I did drive that like I stole it, because basically, it was only interesting when you drove it like that. The Zed feels special even dawdling around.

Although I possibly should have done my homework better as I think I ended up with both a lower power version and am going to get shafted for road tax!

Nope, that's an 05 reg so its in the cheaper road tax band . You do have the 276 BHP model but seeing as the later 298 and 309 BHP versions are 75kg heavier then the difference is quite small really.

I wish it was Pete, but the reg is NC06, and I've checked the tax disc and the 6 months cost something like £260+

Previous owner was a woman. Thats why one of the wheels is kerbed as well probably lol.

Noted on the autosol. The clicking is something I'll probably address eventually, doesn't bother me too much at the mo.

At least it looks like these cars are more robust than my last car, a Clio 172 which cost me over £1500 in various repairs in just 3 months. With a car a special as the Z I wouldn't have minded so much but the Clio was supposed to be a cheap runaround. Not cheap at all really.

Took a pic of the exhaust, doesn't look anything special to me, but then I wouldn't really know.

Also had scary moment today where I thought the soft top wasn't working, but its because I didn't have the foot on the brake.

Finally I can hear a clicking noise coming from the back, common problem?

I can't say out really, I live North of the tyne now but I escaped from the South of the Tyne

One question I do have, how does the Z normally fair for rust (mine is a UK model), the last few Jap cars I've had (MR2T, MX5, PGT etc) have all had rusty bits. Is it worth getting it undersealed before the winter?

Just signing up as I've just bought myself a 2006 350Z roadster GT. I live around Newcastle area. Don't know much about the car as yet, except that I love the noise, looks, handling and power.

Mine has an Injen induction kit and some kind of aftermarket exhaust allegedly, and the wheels are huge, dreading having to buy new tyres!
