Ah ha! I found out what it was! Wires were broken at the OBD and the male clip. Re-soldered and jobs a good-un!

Hey guys,

Just purchased a second hand D1 Spec throttle controller from a forum member (I will not disclose the member just in case!) and the accelerator pedal does not click fully in to the the throttle controller connector. Its the male from the throttle controller that doesn't make a click sounds as its pressed into the female.

Also, I believe it is making contact and when turning the ignition (not fully on), it does not provide power to the throttle controller!

What could be the issue??

Yeah his insurance did sort it, but he got a cash in leiu offer, took the cash and sold the car too. But he gave me a good deal! Hassan is an awesome guy! Looked after me in the sale.

Just very frustrating now.. I didn't think the dents would bother me, but I've had it half a year now and I get jealous looking all the non dented 350z on the forum! Haha!

Bit confused. Which oil can I use??

Handbook matches up with Castrol Edge 0W-30 and it also matches castrols recommended.

Online seems to say any 5W-30, and halfords recommend 5W-30.

Who do I listen to?? And does it really make a big difference??

Hey guys,

I saw that the 10th anniversary Japfest at castle Combe circuit has been confirmed for 11th of May. Would be good if a few of us rocked the 350 there right? I haven't met any other 350z owners, I think this may be a good opportunity for some of us to get together!

I know May is a long way away, but these tickets sell pretty quickly!

Anyway, I'll be going, so let me know if anyone else decides to go too!

Yes.. Haha! It's slowly starting to bug me.. Not sure when I'll snap and splash the cash to get it fixed. Luckily the snow is hiding it all at the moment haha

I have a question.. What options are there to remove the damage caused by hailstones on my car?

There are around 20-30 small little dents on the bonnet, roof and bootlid each (slightly less on the bootlid).

I know the options are to take it to a garage and pay them to get it fixed, but Nissan quoted me £3000-£5000 which is slightly bonkers.

I have potentially looked into buying second hand bonnets, but I'm looking at £300 or so for that. And another £300 or so for the bootlid. Prices based on used stuff around on the internet.

This leaves the roof for a garage to do?!

Has anyone had any luck with any dent removal companies, if so how good can they be, and is it expensive??

Oh and there's 2 small areas where it has actually cracked the paint..

Could it potentially cheaper if I just try and fill and sand all the small dents myself and then pay a garage to get the car resprayed??

I have no idea! This is my first car!

I am not bothered on timing, I have all the time in the world to get this fixed, as I have purchased my zed in this condition.

Any kind of advice would be very much appreciated!

It's mainly just bringing the toque levels up in the earlier levels..

Yeah I live in Loughborough, so the east midlands. Horsham developments has £60 off, which is very appealing! Hopefully get myself booked in next week, weather permitted.

I was just a bit confused about the remapping and whether the only people that can remap are those that do the revup tune. I've seen places that remap for like £150/200 but didn't know how those remaps differ to revup??
