I love the blitz one with the carbon detailing, however I'm not paying that for a spoiler

My new headunit will put out 4x50w not sure wether that's good enough. May just have to turn it up more on the new headunit to get the same as the Bose

Yeah mine starts with s though, I'm sure the one I saw was t50 something. He didn't look over either so may not be on here

Sweet thank god for that! It's so annoying, I looked at the fix it guide and il do that when the headunit is out so when I put it back to stock for sale it works

Does anyone know what wattage the Bose headunit is? 4x50w?

As above really guys, my Bose cuts out the left front speaker about three times a week tis annoying! I love the sound they give and don't want to change the setup but I have a new headunit going in on Thursday and was wondering if my unit will cure the problem, I heard its the actual Bose (not made by them) headunit that causes the issues with it cutting out?

Anybody know if it will cure it?

Having pondered over both looks (nismo spoiler and lip spoiler) even before I bought mine, I'm in two minds wether to buy one and give it a go or just leave it and stop tinkering

I love both looks, the lip spoiler looks great with a nice low bodyline and a classy sleek look but the nismo really brings some presence to the rear and makes it into quite a racy look.

What are your guys opinions on both looks?

I noticed it in your journal, does it feel any different after? I know it needs an uprev, what about the noise?

200 all in is not as bad as I thought actually, just trying to decide between this and the 06 stack with panel filter

I'll be getting an uprev after all my mods, might invest in a hydro jacket aswell though just incase

Ive seen one person on here have one but no details on how it is on the car, I have been pondering over one for a while, it's quite expensive for an induction system but it looks to be real good quality and could actually give some gains from its location, not to mention looks especially in red.

What do you think, worth it or just stick to an 06 stack and panel filter?

M3s do have LSDs yes, the E46 has what's called an M active differential, slightly different to a normal LSD. Quite fragile though along with their boot floors (quite common for them to tear)

Hell no those LEDs are mine soon as there off yours they'll be on mine

Have you got any uprated bulbs anywhere on yours pete? Thinking of just updating the car a little with some 6k headlight bulbs, rear led plate bulbs and some led indicator/sidelight bulbs but for the life of me cant work out which I need as there's so many out there!

Just had my mate ring me up and tell me that his E46 M3 diff has started whining etc on the way back from pod last weekend. I said to him before he went on the dyno that there is speculation about rolling roads messing with the LSD, sure enough when he came off the dyno the dash was lit up like a christmas tree and then on the way home was making noise. The reason I ask is when I get the Uprev done it was be dynod several times and I slightly anxious as to what it will do to the diff

Already seen a couple of extra bits of carbon il get for the Z, even though I promised myself that's once the list is done its done

I don't want to wrap them if I'm honest, Im after the real thing

I have someone that can carbon overlay them which I suppose would be good enough

After searching a while though different threads it appears some people/companies were planning on releasing some carbon steering inserts, does anybody know if this has happened as I'm itching to get a set.

Nothing small cojonas about the noise it makes though also its alot lighter than standard, choice of tips is a big bonus to and the price is spot on as is the service from CS
