I wouldn't believe a word of it, I went to a similar invite only event and prices were still way too high. It's all a pr exercise

I knew they wouldn't ever let anyone have one for trade price. I wanted an idea so I knew how much they were trying it on. I knew someone on here would had been invited to one in the past. I'm intrigued though, so I am going to go this Friday. I promised myself I wouldn't walk out of there with one, but I full in love with a Z too easily. Would be nice to upgrade from my 350z.

I have been invited to a "VIP showroom event" at Toomey Nissan. The invite says that all new cars will be sold to us at factory price, they clearly say "you pay exactly what we [nissan] pay".

Does anyone know roughly how much Nissan dealers pay for a standard, GT or Nismo 370z?

Clearly Abbey Motorsport have a great reputation so I will defo go to them in the near future I do have a full Nissan service history. Thanks for all your help

 

I have FNSH, I'm tempted to switch to Abbey next year though, not happy with the last service I received from the dealer and my brother works there!

I make you right. the main dealerships are normally useless at most things! I work at a welding company that repairs commercial vehicles, so many customers come in to get dealerships work corrected. I have also noticed they don't know a lot about Zeds, they tried telling us ours was 300BHP which it isn't. its quite incredible really. does Abbey have a website? I'll contact them next week (very excited)

Abbey are quick to reply to emails too, and have a fantastic reputation here. As do Horsham but they are towards reading so quite a bit further to go.

+1 for Abbey if you're in Essex, they can explain everything about UpRev. Servicing won't effect it, btw, if you don't have full Nissan service history then Abbey provide a good service also. I jokingly complained that another member on here got marmite on toast when they were there and that I didn't... a few days later I got a pot of Marmite through the post from Abbey.

Definitely worth it, where are you based? There aren't many people that do UpRev (the remapping used for the 350), if you tell you the best people to speak to.

 

BTW, someone really needs to make one of the many uprev/remapping threads sticky! (hint hint mods).

I am based in Essex. I am definitely thinking of doing this. I get my zed serviced by Nissan yearly, now will them servicing my car effect the remap? sorry to sound so stupid, when it comes the ECU I am clueless

oh wow I didn't know about the problems normal unleaded could cause! luckily I have always used super unleaded because its too much of a nice car not to. Sounds worth it to me! thanks for both your help

Hi everyone! someone keeps telling me to get my 350 re-mapped for greater speed. What exactly are my options and what can I gain from getting my Z remapped? is there any reasons not to get it remapped? I was also told if my cars filled up with super unleaded when remapped, I wont be able to go back to normal unleaded- is this true? thank you

A had 1 up untill last nite! car 58 45k on clock ultrayellow its now wrapped round a lampost lucky still here will post a pic l8r what car should a get now? rs4 heavy went by me yestrday aswell
