  1. Fantastic pictures of two lovely cars. Especially fond of the 240z. Great to see them beautifully restored. Would love to know where you found the pictures.
  2. Hi, I drove from Devon to near sheffield in a Honda Civic iCdti to collect my 350z. Both ways were done at apx the same speed. The Honda averaged 46mpg & the 350 averaged 34.6mpg. The 350 IMO is pretty economical if driven smoothly. A great car.
  3. Thanks for the replies, all sorted after spraying some silicone into the fuel cap.
  4. Thanks for the warm welcome everbody. Im from Newton Abbot in Devon by the way, Im happy to meet up with any local 350z'ers. Ill get some pics up as soon as I can, hopefully the weekend. Yes, it does seem to have been very well cared for, as it will be now. It has a Powerflow stainless exhaust on it, burbles at low revs & howls like a banshee at higher revs. I drove apx 260 motorway miles back to Devon after collecting it & it returned 34.6mpg at 75-80mph. I was very impressed as my Honda Civic Type S diesel only managed 46mpg at the same speed going up there. As you can tell im like a kid at christmas time. The car is even better than i hoped for now im getting used to it. Thanks again for the warm welcome guys. Mark
  5. I'll try to take a picture tomorrow. Thanks for the fast reply.
  6. Hi everyone, I've just picked up my lovely metallic silver/grey 350z GT. it has black heated leather, sat nav etc. it's a 54 plate, 45k miles & virtually mint condition throughout. My return journey home back to Devon was apx 260 motorway miles & I can't believe at 75-80 mph the 350 returned an incredible 34.6mpg. I have wanted one of these cars for several years, I have definitely made the right choice, it's a motorway cruiser, a tourer with all that grunt & an amazing sports car when you want to really have some fast fun. One odd thing I have difficulty with however is screwing the fuel cap back on. I find it difficult to get the cap to screw on straight, it seems like its not tight up against the fuel tank neck one side. Hope that makes sense. Anyone else have this problem, or is there a knack to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mark
