  1. Welcome and to see your pride and joy in pieces I recently got myself lovely Z. You are comming from a front wheel drice celica to a rear wheel drive Z. Rear wheel drive is so much more fun. You will love it. I love the look of your Toyota before the damage, STUNNiNG!
  2. Thank you for your help. I think I will go with the twin Carbonetics. I will be in touch soonish. Regards, Stuart
  3. Sounds good, thank you for your priceless advice. They go for around 1800gbp, I have got some saving to do . Many thanks, Stuart
  4. So using a twin plate clutch will not affect the road/ traffic drive ability in the low RPM range?
  5. All the work was done at Ds automotive in Aylesbury. Thank you
  6. Yes cossy internals fully forged Is it the twin plate that you are suggesting? Carbonetics is a bit hard to get hold of these days.
  7. Hi all, As per title I am searching for a new clutch for my tt Z. Currently the torque figure is at 400ft/lbs and 464 BHP at the fly wheel. The winter plans are: ramp the torque up to 500ft/lbs with around 550Bhp. Prior to that I need to replace the tired oem clutch. I am planing to use the Z on the track but mainly it gets me to work and back. For that reason I would like to stick with the single plate clutch. Any suggestions/ recomendations are welcome. Thank very much in advance
  8. It will be interesting to see what unit is it and who the tuner is It is Syvecs S6 ECU , both us @ Abbey and Jez @ Horsham Developments have had input into the development , just waiting for some more updates. Was giving good number son my totally stock UK 276bhp last week. Sounds good! Looks like tuning will be done by the Syvecs God Ryan G. at 2bar tuning.

  10. I must admit you know your stuff. I am new to the Z scenne. Your sugestions are very helpfull- thank you. Any ideas where I can get more info regarding haltech? Who can install it and who can work it(map it) in the Uk? The day gets better and better since I have posted on here.
  11. This is a possibilty: I use my Z as a daily car. Standalone ecu all the way, for a track use. As daily car there might be trouble with various oem systems ie. central locking ect. That is why APS recomend piggy back. But I am open to sugestions. Always chaseing more power . By the way what clutch would you recomend?
  12. The car use to belong to Chris B aka 'zedsway' on here, bless him. Fully forged engine with cosworth internals. Aps Twin kit, tall boy aps intake mani, big baffeled sump, greedy oil cooler, big koyo ally rad, aps supplied injectors and fuel pump, full aps stainless steel exhaust with decat pipes. All controlled by oem ecu with piggy back uni chip version one. Currently it is at 464,3 BHP at fly with 392 ft lb tq. If I could I would drive it non stop day and night, fantastic. Prior to the Z I have owned 700bhp big twin turbo supra. Ok supra was insanely quick, but I ll go with the Z all day every day. Let me know if you need any more info I will be happy to share. I will try to upload recent power run dyno graphs soon.
