Just out of interest, where are you located? And is it just a straight swap?

Updated - Saturday 22nd June
Completed a few more mods today, firstly fitted my red carbon fibre badges (the ones just above the indicators on the wings) to match my red wheels. Really pleased with them. I had to order them from the states as I couldn't find them anywhere in the UK, but well worth the wait!
I also fitted some white LEDs under the rear strut bar for a bit of subtle boot lighting
Finally. I helped my friend fit some new wheels to his golf GTi

I have just seen this:
http://www.japshow.co.uk/tickets.php
£20 for just 4 runs on Sunday! That is bullshit! Wasn't it always unlimited?
On a rwyb day it is. Show day they have to limit it to allow the extra numbers
Exactly.
If you go on the Saturday (testing day) or any other RWYB day then you get unlimited runs.
The reason they can't do that on the Sunday is because the track is taken up with the Jap Drag Series and FWD Drag series, so there isn't as much track time available.

I dont think the forum has a stand, and i'm not a member of any other clubs.
The Show paddock bit was quite good last year so i'm happy with that
-
Cool, I am planning on attending.
Will be parking in the show paddock bit again, if you see me come say hi :-)
-
Can I be added to the list too for some clear/silver ones?
Think you missed my above post ^^^ :-)
-
Hi Mate,
Please could you add me to the list :-)
Would like a set of the clear ones please.
Thanks
Dan

Need to put a "stubby" aerial on it ..stop it looking like a dodgem..Great otherwise.
Get the correct one from ZMANALEX its the Honda CRX one thats the best.
Thanks mate - that's exactly what I will be doing :-)

Agreed totally - I forgot about that - Stubby aerial is going on the list!
how are you finding those spacers? Have you had any vibration issues with the spacers not being hubcentric?
Spacers are spot on mate. I had it lowered and then had a full geo done and it's perfect, I've never had any sort of vibrations.

Hi all,
Does the forum plan to have a stand at this years Jap show?
Or are any other members attending?
Last year I went and had my car in the show car paddock part, it was quite a good day.

Saw your car at the show today atkin666. It looked lovely mate. Mine was on display outside. Not many others z's there today!

You can turn up and display, you just wont be eligible for any prizes I dont think
Thanks, I may come along and display then.

On a track/drift car with a bodykit, aftermarket wheels and matching accents/stickers maybe. But standard wheels on a standard body isn't for me sorry
Agree with Irfan,
To go bold and pull it off my personal opinion is you need a bigger set of aftermarket wheels.
Good effort though, you will always divide opinion when trying something a bit different. I personally dislike gloss black wheels too but look how popular they are.
As long as you like them it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks
Yep I have had mixed feedback on them! But I like them, they have really grown on me.
Hopefully the car will have a few more little red touches over the next few weeks too.
I'm not a fan of big bodykits etc but wanted to do something different, that would stand out!
Cheers for the feedback everyone, I didn't put the photos up in the hope everyone would praise the car, I just thought people would enjoy seeing something different!
I will add some more pics once my other 'red bits' arrive :-)

Is it possible to turn up on the day and display your car does anyone know?
Or does it have to be a pre arranged car club stand?
-
Believe it or not these are already on my ebay 'watch' list! along with a couple of other red details

I think your bolts need to be black - or the nissan badge needs to be silver, too many different colours!
Definitely stands out though!
Yeah it stands out!
Not sure I understand what you mean? At the moment the Nissan badges are silver? Which matches the wheel bolts (and the car!)

haha Thanks mate. I'm really pleased with the red wheels, they look a lot better in person too. It was a bit of a risk but I still have the standard wheels too.
I've had no problems with my plate, never been pulled once and it's been on the Z and my last few cars for a few years. Its a 3/4 size plate so it's not stupidly small
