  1. I bought one of these last year & I'm not a fan, yes there well equipped & look nice but I hate the drive. I feel that your to near to the front axle & the ride is very uncomfortable, every input is on or off, brakes, steering, suspension you & your passenger get shaken up like a rag doll even when making a conscious effort to drive smoothly.

To a certain degree I would agree with you and it's a lot different to my previous merc sprinter which had over 250K miles on it but having ripped around goodwood the other day, it reminded me of years when I had a little 5 GT turbo as it lifts its unloaded rear wheel when cornering hard, surprisingly chuckable for a van.

  2. Ooooo I love a sport van!!!! Good choice, what's the spec on it?

Standard sport spec which has air con, cruise, heated half leather, lane assist, hill assist, driver alert, blue tooth, the lust goes on really, plus nav and led's in load area.

    Great van though.

  3. Well unfortunately I have to say goodbye to the zed this weekend, it's been a fantastic car and everyone on here has been equally welcoming, especially the boys at the Zedshed who have, on more than one occasion helped me out with the car.

A special mention to Bob who helped with the sale, cheers mate

I can't say never say never to owning another one at some time in the future.

    Cheers everyone.

  4. Yeah, happy with the finish but hard work to keep clean, hold that, in fact a bloody nightmare to keep clean when used as a daily driver in all weather. I got them off Keyser on here, the are Veilside splits, 9 front, 10 rears but only 18's.

  5. I'll eat my hat if anyone else on here has driven one of these. An Austin Princess Vanden Plas with a 4.0L Rolls Royce engine  . O.K so I only drove it 5 miles because my ex father in law drunk but what an experience :).

    Pete

I have, my old man had a Princess R, straight six Rolls engine and smooth. He also had a Coombes S Type, that was pretty mad in its day. The worst he had was a flock covered DB6, horrid to look at.

  6. I have not purchased a lot for mine just a few things I got of Keyser, all of which my mrs thinks cost sod all, She even thinks some of it were birthday gifts from Chris and Bob, how generous they are !

    We are generous!!

BTW can't wait to meet your good lady :stir::p

    Thanks mate!
