Very very true... Car has/is HPI clear.. but surely a repair can be hidden from HPI if it never went through insurance. Or is the counter to that, if it never went through insurance it can not have been that bad?

I would probably walk myself, I really dont think it would be an issue but there are plenty of others around I have been looking for 2 months I want a 313 engine.. and thats it, from that just has to be low milage, maintained properly and mint..

I have seen a few now like this.. I have walked away from one mint one as I thought it was a bump repair..

That my good man is exactly what I am thinking better to get a low miler (13k) which I am aware of rather than one which is a compelte gamble at 20k miles, he has since text and said changed/switched at around 1/4 of a tank..

And my good man, what would these consist of, I did look behind/under the bonet everything appeared of a similiar age and straight.. I would get a full AA inspection..

Yep, nearside is the passenger side - because it's nearest to the pavement I believe....I thought it was the driver side for years!

He said Nissan told him it was ok.. he stressed he hardly drove it fast... 14k miles?? its a bit of a deal breaker for me... mixed opionions.. on searches? it was lovely other than that... It just concerns me he alternated usage?

i was doing, and no w am doing.. its a blatant bump repair... imo.. 313's.. like a good job, a mint one, well they are hard to find.. thanks so much for sharing info

Hi, i viewed a 313 today that i liked.. the seller freely admitted he alternated high octane and standard unleaded fuel.. less than 25k on the clock.. could this cause harm to the engine?

Good People of the Forum.. Do 313 Bonnets sit slightly to the left, so that the join between lowest downward part of the bonet (see image with red lines ) and left headlamp is tight around 3mil and contrast that the gap on the lowest downward right headlamp side is wider about 8mil (see image with green lines ).. Please help, I am searching for 313's and even when HPI clear this makes me think avoid.. avoid..bumped at some point Am I wrong, can the stut on a 313 or something make them sit like this.. would not go near it, unless proof of damage and step by step repair photo's and still then prob not go near it..

great pics man.. .. it just makes me want to buy mine more.. sleepless nights hunting for a (mint) 313z awesome photo's...

good luck, and thanks for the clarrification. Is the corrosion warranty affected if you have a respray? I have no idea of the effect of a respray on the warranty. I guess if the paint used was on equal or higher quality to that which Nissan use there MAY not be a problem, as the warranty is only valid for corrosion from the inside out. fair enough, cheers Kyle..

This should be interesting ......what we thinking ? Hydraulic dancing suspension and some spinners on the wheels? Rims spinnin! No Just a nismo kit and exhaust maybe an abbey remap.. I am reluctant to go for this one as its just not been looked after... if its like that on the outside, what love has been applied to under the bonnet. It does have excellent service history, 13k miles on clock , mint interior but the 5th felt wrong, the v1 bumper needed a respray..about 150 stone chips on it and bonnet when up close. Dont think it would need flicking in (it may do).. But it would age differently thats for sure... The passanger wing has already had a respray.. garden furniture damage. The grill was lose behind the V1 bumper was lose, the passanger nismo skirt lose, the v1 bumper about 10 mil out of place near side front lamp.. the kick plate and drivers handle battered with scratches, and the mud guard betwee the nismo v1 bumper and drivers wheel was torn lose and would need re applying, this was complemented with a large scuff which appears to be the result of bad parking... All wheels needed a refurb to. So I would be paying for a Nismo kit thats not actually mint.. So would rather get a low mileage, 313 engine (thats the main thing for me) base car a loved one from the forum and then mod it properly at recomended places over time..

1st this forum is addictive.. 2nd Agreed, I would expect some stone chips, but genuine 150+, when you really look. The right bumper scraped, out of line to head lamp, damage behine the bumper on the mud guard/skirt, torn away from bumper, and the two front wheels looked about 12 years old.. It just has not been loved... The facory nismo v1 looked awesome.. It made me fall in love, but after driving headphones last night I think there was also a problem with the 5th gear. I initially thought it was me, but I could drive Headphones smooth as silk.. That is unless the transmissions are different in 313s. I need to think with head.. I think i would be better getting a mint/forum loved stock/few mods 313 and getting it PIMPED later... pics... ps I stil am in love with it.. just will get a base model and love it more and mod it to my tastes..

Agreed, may all be genuine.. but just does not sit right.. there are 1 or 2 other irons in the fire

Hi, I am about to have an inspection by AA on a 313 factory Nismo (deposit down). I could not get it in 5th gear. there is a respray and repair reuired to scrape (bad parking) and slight re-positioning of the front bumper. I have since drove a cpl other cars and nailed 5th no probs. so it may come back as some tran issues . The wheels need a full refurb. 13k on the clock, but it could have been better lucked after. It may come back as not origional parts.. If it does I am still on the hunt. So does anyone have a lovely, mint 313 for sale, it just has to be a GT, nismo is just a bonus. I have some £ (but a budget). If there are any traders on autotrader/pheads you know I should avoid. let me know. I really want one
