Bluetooth connection - is mine the same as yours?

Me too - bought my first 350z last week and thought it had the adapter, but was mistaken! I've got the cradle in the armrest but no adapter plugged into it. I guess the only way to check is to trace the cradle wiring back and see where it goes... what is it they say? No gain without pain? It's half the fun!
