  1. It's been cleaned, but I've just driven 185 miles, through rain and it needs a rinse, brought all my gear just no where to go. Never mind, after the t**ts gauged my paint stealing the zed badge it's not gonna matter if the car needs a wash!

    See you tomorrow folks

Take it to a petrol station & use there yet wash? Or if your staying close I'm 20 mins from Donnington you can come use my water. lol

  2. He looked at the discs on the inner but only through the gap inbetween the back guard.

No the ABS light doesn't come on.

I will have a go with the braking but going to work on 30mph roads don't get to push it very often.

How would you know if the rear caliper is sticking? Can't test it on the brake tester because too low really to put on the rollers I think?

  3. More light braking but coming to a complete stop at junctions. The front discs were quiet corroded on the inner pad was making a groove in the pads.

Yes noise is only there when braking & coming to a stop at junctions/islands. It's almost a rubbing - boinging noise that pulses through the brake pedal but there is no improvement with replacing the front discs & pads.

  4. I'm a mechanic . If the gear stick is all over the place it means the engine and box is shaking about .the duel mass is probably the culprit.

I thought normally if it's the duel mass flywheel it shakes intermittently when on idle. If it only happens at 70mph would say balancing/wheels are main culprit ??

Really depends on how far gone it is .shaking on idle means it's absolutely knackered.

It's absolutely fine at idle. Only dodgy above 70. Gonna get rear wheels balanced up. If that doesn't sort it then it's back to the dealer.

Rear wheel balancing should fix it hopefully, fingers crossed for ya.
