Hello guys
I want to do a little weekend away with the missus and wanted to get some suggestions on where the best roads are in terms of being picturesque, good to drive and quiet.
I was thinking Wales perhaps, but where? Are there some famous roads out there?
Cheers for any suggestions.

I get 60 miles on just over an 8th of a tank. That's over 400!
Not sure that's entirely accurate but its way more than 200, def.

I love my milltek and its enlgish made. makes a lovely sound and is not too noisy, lovely little gurgle too.

Hi
I had mine upgraded recently and the biting point is higher, it took me some getting used to but no problems with it.
How high? Is it now uncomfortable to drive? I'm not sure it is even adjustable.
Cheers

I was going to say the same. parking sensors are after market so depends who fit them and what make. might be hard to find out but i'm sure there would be setting or resistor to change this.
might be more hassle than it's worth to be honest.

I'm pretty sure people are putting Gun metal grey when it should be twilight grey aren't they?

Any body know of any in the N6 area or nearby?
I need my head unit rewired so the phone connections come out of a different point in the car.
cheers!

Hi Guys
I had a Pioneer App Radio installed a little while back. Loving the unit and have it working with ARLiberator so have my android phone mirrored onto the HU screen. Full touch control with full phone functionality.
We had agreed to run the wires through the middle console and out of the hatch/cubby at the back. I now don't want the mess of wires in there and want to route them out the back of the unit and trail them along the side of the middle console by the drivers left knee. I will just velcro tape the phone to the side there and plug it in at the back with the wire hanging loose.
Now, I know how to get the HU out by taking off the main middle console but i don't know how to get the wires from out of the handbrake and cubby etc. Basically from the gear stick back. Are there any guides out there on how to get the covers off or can somebody guide me through the process please?
Thanks for any help!

i'll post how it goes. cheers

are these for under the strut brace that the screws for the upper brackets screw into?
if so i could do with a couple too
yes they are
just bought the ones from the link i posted in the first post. i actually bought 4 very cheaply but the postage was 7.95 :S
anyway, got them now.
The outer diameter of 12mm should be fine.
Oh and Pro bolt don't have the m4 x 11mm

Try B&Q, they'll probably have loads for cheap
Wouldn't have thought B&Q do rawl nuts like in the link I provided. Certainly don't on the web. Too specialist.

Hi Guys
I've read a couple of posts here of people that had got some a while back. Was wondering if anybody had a couple spare or knew where to get hold of them individually online?
I found this http://www.orbitalfasteners.co.uk/en/products/rawplug-m4x12-rawlnut-flexi-plug-rawl-p-no-rnt-m4-12-screws-not-included but not sure if they second measurement matters too much?
Cheers

interesting. i was looking at the Rotas but they don't come in grey. how much would powder coating cost and does it look any good?
-
shame, i thought there may be a way to fit them i didn't know about.
struggling to find a 19" multi spoke wheel in gun metal grey or anthracite.

Thanks for the response Mark.
Looking forward to booking it in and getting one fitted. Most likely I will be going for the Milltek system.
When the numbers in my account look like they are behaving nicely i will be in contact.

my car with invidia Gemini, only vid I've got sorry
Does sound really nice, and not too loud when u don't want it to be.
TBH I don't think you can go wrong with either system.
Nice! I agree, both will be a good buy. Cheers for posting the vid dude
I'm in Surrey, if your're near by give me a shout, more than happy to let you have a listen Milltek and Berks HFC's
Hey glrnet. That would be awesome. Maybe one weekend day over the next few weekends I'll pop over. I'll give you a shout via pm.
Which insurance company are you with if you dont mind me asking?
I'm with cheapo elephant. I hadn't driven for about 2 years and lost 12 years NCB with tesco so went with a cheapo firm again.

Cheers guys. Plenty of food for thought there.
Abbey say they fit the Miltek for 350z's as a standard. Sure they will fit whatever but they have experience with it.
Couple of other questions. Will adding an intake help the exhaust at all? I heard it would do.
Also, how much will it affect my insurance?
-
Do you want it loud?
Do you want it close to OEM sound?
Do you want standard style or true dual?
What other plans in regards to mods have you got planned in the future, because some exhausts may not be ideal should you choose to go FI.
I would like it slightly louder than the oem.
A bit more agresive and low.
Not sure what style really.
I won't be doing many performance upgrades really apart from perhaps an intake and a remap. Prob rollbars but that's inconsequential.
Cheers

Hi
Can somebody tell me the main characteristics of these exhausts and if one is better than the other?
Abbey have told me I need to replace my existing OEM exhaust so think its a good opportunity to upgrade. Can't wait to here a new one in there.
Any info much appreciated.
