Thanks DoogyRev There must be an alternative to replacing all the ICE just to get the sub working - there must be I'll post a couple of pics of the pipe, but they will be reliant on the flash as I'll only be able to take them on returning from work tomorrow. I'll wait till the weekend before having a look behind the seat as it needs a thorough clean anyway.

Hey All As I mentioned in another forum here on 350z, I just purchased a UK 04 350z GT yesterday and want to get it cleaned up and running like it should do. Although equipped with a Bose stereo (which I've experianced in previous cars) there's no evidence of any typical Bose bass. Any ideas? The airbag light is flashing. What's the fix as I read this was a common problem? The last service was carried out 3 months ago at Kwick Fit with just FULL SERVICE written in the service wallet. Although all previous stamps in the book point at a good FSH I'd like to get the oils changed for some peace of mind. What's the best spec of oil (and on-line supplier if possible) for the diff, gearbox and engine? It's got an aftermarket exhaust fitted. I'm not sure the make of it, but getting down on my hands and knees I noticed the tips can be changed (although welded), and they're the bits I have the issue with as I prefer the more subtle diameter of the stock tips. Can the tips be changed by themselves? Where do you recommend purchasing some good quality subtle tips from? Is there any recommendation for a good local independent specialist garage in the IG1 area? Thanks in advance for your answers / tips and suggestions.

I'm not sure. The tailipipes are definitly larger diameter than the standard ones I've seen. It's got some Fensport bits on it, and having just got on my knees and had a proper look I might be able to get away with just changing the end pipes (if they're available). Hi All I've just purchased a UK 04 350z GT with 130k on the clock....... It seems nice and tight to drive, but I do wish everyone was particular as I am with looking after the interior. I've already noticed a couple of bits I'd like to get sorted before I really start to enjoy it (the Bose doesn't boom, idle's a bit low, it's got an after-market back box and I want an original, etc.....), so am looking for a good independent local garage to the IG1 postcode - any suggestions?? Other than that - I'll be giving it a thorough clean in the weeks to come and then posting up some pics.
